Hello my name is Emily and I am 13 and I am talking about my mum and I. I treated my mum pretty unfairly quiet a while ago and she copped alot I called her horrible names and I really hated her but I have looked back at the past and thought to myself how could I have been so cruel to my Mum when I look now and think oh my God what she has gone through in the past from her family, ex friends, her husband and depression. I would just love to say my mum is so wonderful and she has a heart of Gold. She has been through alot and I can`t believe how she helps all of us. There are four of us kids and we are going to give her the most wonderful mother`s Day yet because we really love her and admire her for what she does for all her kids, family and friends.And Mum has forgiven me for what has happen and I love her very much. Love you Mum from Emily. I just wanted to share this with you all. xo

Great idea, just checking, when did this competition start? I published a piece yesterday, is it included? Do we have to say we want to be in the comp or are all articles already considered?

In the spirit of Mother's Day, as most of us here on Minti are, let us not make this into a popularity voting where people vote highly on their friends (or low for those who are not their friends). We can tell who votes on what, and what their votes are. Vote on the content and merit of the advice and not the author.

We will keep an eye on things to make sure this does not turn into a popularity contest.

The pressures you put us writers under! lol.  I'm going to have to sit this one out, way too tired and the last thing I wrote, I'm still considering if it is actually readable or just my babble from to many late nights!

by the way, if there are some top articles tied for score, we will then choose the one with the most amount of votes.

ie: if 4 articles all have an ave score of 5 stars, then the 3 with the most amount of votes will win.

If the number of votes are tied then we may be forced to select one.

I should probably note here that all normal rules to Minti apply, like copyright issues, vote targeting, etc. But I guess you already knew that.
