PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) wrote to ice cream maker, Ben & Jerrys urging them to use human milk in their ice cream.

Seriously? I'm all for ethical treatment of animals, but are they saying animals deserve better than humans?

They'd have to resize the milking machines and combine them with comfortable chairs in warm rooms; work out proper payscales for the ladies as they wouldn't do it for grass; only employ milk maids; swap all the babies on to formula... just not practical!

How about using the milk of human kindness?

Can you imagine how much you would have to express just to make one litre of icecream? Seriously as a mum who has had to express for weeks on end, the idea is just mindboggling - I can tell they have never expressed. I can't see any mum agreeing to it or any one buying it. Crazy!
