Life is great isn't it?? I know we all have our 'moments' but I have just arrived at work opened my email and there's one from my best mate re. her eldest daughter havin' a severe breakdown re. her homework - essay due hasn't finished she's in year 11 - so as my mate says its going to be a very long year and a half!!!! Then there's my beaufiful kids - my youngest has got me a present from his school to give me on Mother's Day - he hid it in his room and I was tidying up and nearly found it so I was in lots of trouble.  I didn't see what it was so he's happy and can't wait to give it to me on Sunday.  Last w/end I went away with a group of girls that I went to high school with.  We had the best time just sitting around laughing and crying about all of our 'issues'!!! - so many things going on in so many lives but so fantastic to have great mates. You can really tell them anything and not be judged - they throw in their advice etc. and on to the next subject.  One of the girls came up with 'what is said on tour stays on tour' - so that is our motto now - 'Mums the Word' as they say.  We all have the opportunity to lead such great healthy lives in this wonderful country don't we?  I hope all the Mums out there have a wonderful day on Sunday. DEPRESSION!!!!!......................my story started in 2004 when we were inolved in a car accident i suffered a permantant neck injury the docters said i would recover in a couple of weeks.......till today im on morphine patches to ease the pain... afer a few monthe or 2 years of phiso which didnt help my mood realy started changing ...screaming crying..locking myself in the toilet.....i couldnt drive due to all the medications i was taking a few months went past and my mood got was the things that were running through my mind got worse eveyday my partner told the gp about my moods so i was referred to phicolgy i went for nearly two years and a few months.....the pain i felt was realy bad phically but mentally i felt worse looking at my kids .....needing me and not being able to help i was in bed alot they missed out so much in the last five years i had my licence since i was 18 after the accident i was terrified so the medication and my whole fear set in.....i felt like a real burden to my partner who is now my carer  and my kids as always i was stearing at my ceiling while in bed ans all i thought about was how to end my life at that time it was the only thing that made sence to me my parter could move on my kids would leed a normal happy life going out playing sports not having to see there mum in pain and so so miserable ...then one night i went crazy screaming cursing demanding money so i can run just get out i8 snapped i even had a knife in my hand i terrified my kids my partner couldnt come me down i was shaking it was like i was some one else.....i steamed out side i had the house payment around $500 walked up and down still shaking trying to breath was just so hard my heart thumped so much it scares me stiil today after a couple of hours of walking up down i went inside i couldnt go anywear i had a car but i was scared to drive i had all my medication which my partner gives in case i take the wrong ones concentratino i had none..i told my phicoligist what had happened she actualy told my i had a severe nervous break down and that i shouldve gone straight to a hospital..oh my god i realy am cracked now im still on the highest amount of attidpressants plus alot of othere medication i stll avoid family and freinds and my kids to me still miss out every thinks you can snap out of severe deppression and the medication is a magic solution it helps yes but not with the guilt you carry with you after seeeing the people you love so much suffer because of you  if anyone feels down not them self or cries for no reason please get help the earlier the better....please excuse my spelling mistakes in my own story .
