I've only heard Duffy's Mercy and love it. But I dind't know who sang it until now. Then I just saw this video, Warwick Avenue and fell in love with it instantly I love her voice!

My son is now actually 3 years and 8 months old. Since before he turned 3, I noticed that he's great at directions. He's been going to the same preschool since he was 2, so understandably, he'll know how to go to school and how to go home. But he's been doing this since about slightly after 2 1/2 years old. He would tell me where to turn and if I turn the opposite direction (to go somewhere else for errands, gas, etc), he gets upset.

Then in November of last year, we went to a mall we don't normally go to. We had a Christmas portrait done as a family. When we got there, we saw Santa. Two days later, when I took him with me to pick up the pictures he grabbed my hand and said, "I want to go there to see Santa!". Here I am thinking, wow! I've been to this mall several times and I still get turned around!

A few weeks ago, we went to Target. Again, this is not a place we usually go to...and the silly woman that I am, I couldn't find the front of the store in order to check out! I asked my son if he could help me,  and he did. When he saw the cashiers, he said, "Mommy, you found it all by yourself. Great job, mom!"  lol

Perhaps this doesn't speak to my son's spatial ability, but instead of my lack of it. lol

I urge everyone to respect copyright laws. This means that if it isn't your work, it is best to stay away from it and refrain from posting it on Minti as your own. In respecting copyright laws, articles that are found to be copyrighted elsewhere are reported by members to get them removed. This is an ongoing process that hopefully long standing members fully understand. Recently, it has come to my attention that a member has copied and pasted many articles on Minti that have gone unnoticed until now. Because this member is a long standing member of the community, I gave the member the opportunity to come to me with a list of the articles so that they can be deleted discretely. This person has instead chosen to leave of their own accord.

Dear Minti Members

 For only the second time in our history we have taken the exceptional decision to delete and ban a member of the Minti community.  This member consistently made efforts to undermine the actions of the Website Founders and Support staff.  We provided this member with over 5 warnings relating to the activities being undertaken and have also placed this member in a number of time-outs over the past year or so.

 We would appreciate your understanding and support in this decision as we cannot continue to have members on our site who undermine and cause distress for other members and for the small team that run Minti.

Recently, I've found many articles from a member that is a direct copy of someone else's copyrighted work. Copying & pasting articles to be posted here on Minti and passed as your own is dishonest and a breach of Minti's Terms of Service. It is also illegal. I want to keep exterternal emails to me, from original author's, demanding certain Minti contents be taken down to a mininum.

To keep yourself and others from making this mistake, the most important thing to remember is that posting other's work that is not your own is NOT acceptable. Members are more than welcome to share links within their blogs and appropriate groups, should you find something interesting that you'd like to tell others.

If you are unsure whether what you're doing breaches any copyright guidelines, it is best to discuss this in appropriate groups or your blog before publishing your article or you may email me.

It's an historic day here in the U.S., for the first time in American history a black man is elected president!  McCain has congratulated Obama and is currently delivering a great speach.

We made it to a lot more houses Trick or Treating on Halloween with our Clone Trooper, Strawberry Fairy and Tulip Fairy. It was a lot of fun and triple the candies.
