Oh, how I am looking forward to this long Canada Day weekend. We are headed to the cottage in the morning. First time up this year, the girls are thrilled. So am I actually. I love to get away, relax, enjoy the outdoors.

 My girls did wonderfully at the swim meet this past weekend. Rayne got personal bests in all of her 6 events, and won one of her heats. She is so proud of that ribbon. Cali did well also. That will be her last meet, as she has decided to continue with gymnastics instead of swimming. Her coach has recommended her for competitive gymnastics. 

I wonder how we are going to balance two children in two different competitive sports. Time consuming, but we'll manage (I hope).

 I sure hope the 'ole saying is true. We have a trip to Canada's Wonderland planned for tomorrow. This was the sky tonight.

 After work today I met with a few other mums in the area. We are planning our towns first mom to mom sale in October. It is an event where moms rent a table to sell their unneeded stuff to other moms. We are at the planning stages, and things are starting to come together. I am glad to be apart of something like this, especially with it being a first for our town. We plan on donating the money raised to a local charity. I'll keep you posted.

 Nothing much to talk about today. I worked. I work 12hr shifts, so not much family time. The girls were still up when I got home, so I got the pleasure of tucking them in. Love that. 

I am very proud of Rayne for getting a 92% on her math test today. 

Tomorrow, unfortunately will be a repeat of today, as I am back at work.

 Oh it's been a long time since I have been here. Minti has had a few changes, it looks good.  

We have had a few changes too. We moved into our new house. We had bought land in September, and finally moved in on May 14th. We love it! 

Glad to be back with Minti. I'll try not to be so much of a stranger now!

I have been away for awhile. Not physically, just from Minti. Life got busy, no other excuse!  Sad to say, not much news to report. Though no news is good news, it leads for a dull blog.

Us Canadians just celebrated our Thanksgiving. It was great to get together with family and friends-- to take to time to remember what we are thankful for.

We just returned from a week in Mexico. What a great time. We booked last minute, and got a great price-- couldn't resist it!   The girls had a great time. It is the off-season presently, we almost had the place to ourselves. We did have a 250ft pool to ourselves most of the days.  That made for lots of splashing fun!!!

Grrrr... how I dislike bullies. My daughter was bitten at school today! No skin broken, but she's going to have a nasty bruise tomorrow. I sure hope that bully is treated appropriately at home. I can say, the school did a great job of dealing with the situation so far.
