Hi all..... I am a mother of three children a boy 17yrs and two girls 16 yrs &13 yrs. We live in suburbia and have just finished building our new home. My defacto partner and I have jobs, he works in a warehouse and I have my own business as a remedial massage therapist.
Life in general is awesome, though it gets quite a challenge to bring up teenagers. The world we live in now throws us in a spin when it comes to teenagers, trying so hard to keep a balance and giving them room to move and grow brings on many interesting hurdles that we need to overcome, certainly there is no golden rule book on how to rear them.
But all we can do is just make sure we give them plenty of love, understanding, and set boundaries. So far I have been blessed with having three kids with good heads on their shoulders. They do not do drugs, smoke, or drink, they keep themselves preoccupied with schooling, music, sports, work and they hang out with good groups of friends.
Please excuse me if I don't log in very often, I will try to contribute as much as possible to comments and if anyone has questions I will try to answer them back when I can. I get very busy with my work and home life that the months will go past and I would still not have done anything on this forum. Anyhow that's me in a nutshell until next time, happy reading. Cheers.... |

Today is the 14th anniversary of my darling daughter who would have been turning 14 years old. Jazmine was born May 6th 1995, she was still born at 38 weeks. It was the most devastating experience I had ever encounter in my life. I unfortunately had no emotional support from my husband (now ex-husband of 10 years), he just wanted me to soley focus my attention to the two other children we had at the time and not allowing us to acknowledge that she had ever existed.Gladly to say now, I am and my other 3 children (I had another daughter after Jazmine) we keep her memory alive.
