Well it has been, hmm, now 4 months since my last post?!?! Yikes. Well here we go

Jacob:
Started and is loving Grade 1
Started and is loving hockey
Was a ninja turtle for Hallowe'en
Had a great Christmas - got so many things - street hockey goalie equipment, toys, toys, clothes, toys, clothes
Turned 6 - had his first real birthday party with 13 kids, a mad scientist and a rubix cube cake
Has been to 4 hockey tournaments and has won the digger award, gotten goals and assists.
Started lacrosse camp
Lost two teeth
Growing so fast and saying the most hilarious things!!!

Kolby:
Is almost completely potty trained (he is still working on nightimes)
Was a pit crew employee from Cars for Hallowe'en
Says sentences and tells stories
Likes to be naked - really the less clothes the better!
Had a fantastic Christmas - got an overload of "CARS" toys, blankets, apparel, etc
Is registered for pre-school for September '09

Lindsey:
Sleeps in a big girl bed in her Tinkerbell Room
Was a little witch for Hallowe'en
Got a ton of stuff for Christmas - super huge doll house, clothes, toys, clothes, toys
Is saying more words than the boys ever did - is this a sign of times to come??? lol

Keith:
Doing renos on a school in Calgary - a 2 year project - he is the site Superintendent.
Starting the upswing into the '09 lacrosse season - he is head coach again and has offered to be an Asst Coach with Jacbo's team
Playing hockey 2 times a week - Friday nights and Sunday mornings
Continuing his education with more supervisory classes - eventually he will be a gold something or other - I can't remember what it is. He keeps taking classes and the more hours of instruction time he get, the closer he gets to raising his level of superintendent skill.
Painted the upstairs of the house, layed the hardwood in the kids' rooms upstairs, built the gazebo for the hot tub - basically he is the MAN around here!!! lol

Jennifer:
Regularily attends the Parent Council Meetings for Jacob's school
Volunteer Coordinator for Rockyview Lacrosse
Team Manager for Jacob's hockey team
Attended dance classes until they got cancelled
Joined pilates classes - oh my, what a great muscle workout!!
Training for a 1/2 marathon this May through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada
Watches 1 extra child on a full-time basis and is part of the babysitting coop so there are often lots of kids around that aren't mine!! lol


So basically we are all very busy and just love it that way!! Jacob had 100 day at school last week - that means that we are getting awfully close to the end of the school year. Kolby is going to be in pre-school and Jacob is going to be in grade 2?!?!? How did this happen so quickly. This September Kolby will be going into skating lessons as well. Jacob is taking a hockey camp in August and is currently in a lacrosse development camp. The kid is starting to become a through and through hockey fan - his room is filled with hockey, he can't get enough of it on tv and takes books out of the library for hockey!!! We have seasons passes to the Roughnecks and switch between Keith and I going and Jacob and Keith going. Keith has taken Jacob to a Hitmen game as well - and we have plans to go again next week.

I will be having a sale this April to get rid of the overload of baby stuff that is overtaking our storage room. Getting rid of all that stuff will allow us to store even more junk!!! lol

So I think you are all caught up!!! My mom and Keith's parents are coming out for Kolby's 3rd birthday at the end of February. We will have a great time!
