The Progressive Conservative Party took 73 of the 83 seats available in the Legislative Assembly. Liberals secured 8 and the NDP got 2. No Green, No WildRose, No Independents.

88% of the LA is controlled by the PC party.

The candidate in our area had over 7000 more votes that the next closest rival, who wasn't a Liberal, but a WilRose Alliance member. 7000 votes out of only 14978.

There are over 30000 people in Airdrie alone, and only 15000 people made it out to vote.

Fingers crossed that Rob Anderson does what he says he wants to do here. Fingers crossed that Ed Stelmach does for this province what he promised to do. Getting rid of Health Care Premiums, lowering income tax, more money for the arts, for schools and building more hospitals and providing the means to staff those hospitals. Harsher penalties for criminals.
