This post is from from my other blog here HUGE news, Kolby has finally started to crawl. Actually crawl, not creep and wiggle like he was doing before. Last night he made a break for the outlets, the dirt in the plants and the cord for the humidifier! Maybe I'm not soooo exctied that he is crawling anymore! I forgot how much more work it is when that can explore themselves! Oh well, we are very happy that he is developing nicely and look forward to his next milestones.
So Thanksgiving was, well, interesting. We drove out to the lake on Friday night. I got VERY sick on the way and we had to make several pitstops so I could... well let's just say my stomach was very empty when we arrived!! I did nothing all day Saturday except rest and sleep. And since we had the big supper Saturday night, I didn't really enjoy the food! By bed time I was feeling better, just exhausted.
Keith then woke up with whatever I had, slept the day away and seemed slightly better by Sunday night. Well bedtime rolls around and BOTH Keith's mom and dad were making dashes to the bathroom, and that turned into an all night affair. I then found out Monday morning that Mike and Emily were really sick too.
We drove home Monday, it was an uneventful drive, thank goodness!
Tuesday morning Keith calls me from work and lets me know that both Wayne and Andrea are sick now too.
So I have directly infected 7 people, nevermind the people that they passed this wretched bug onto. Holy, I am my own biologic warfare. YIKES.
To those I got sick - I AM SORRY! I thought I had food poisoning, not a bug.
Thankfully neither of my boys got sick. The only good thing that came out of this, was that I didn't eat too much at Thanksgiving supper, feel bloated and sick, and then get super lazy!
So I made my announcement to the family, and now I am ready to tell the world.
KEITH AND I ARE EXPECTING BABY #3 IN APRIL OF 2007.
I am elated, though the slight age difference between Kolby and this baby is just shy of 14 months.
I know, I know, your first thought is "you must be hoping for a girl?" Well, not really. I enjoy my boys, I like the temperment of boys, and I am not "hoping" for a girl. Either, of course, is fantastic, and just super duper with me!
Well, I'll keep you all updated on how the pregnancy is going, until then, take care of the ones you love.
