This post is from from my other blog here What a summer. Having been blessed with a pretty relaxed summer, I am just coming to terms with the fact that I must start to really work again. Having Kolby allowed me to close the dayhome for several months, leaving me to enjoy my boys and the beautiful summer sunshine. I spent some time at the lake, had a fun time playing with Jake and his friends and just enjoyed Kolby as a new baby. Starting Aug 29 I will have a total of 3 full time kids coming to the dayhome. Two 3 year olds and a one year old. Add onto that two part time 3 year olds and a part time 1 year old and I will be working harder than I have EVER in my life. For those of you keeping track that is a total of 5 three year olds (including Jake), 2 one year olds and a 6 month old (Kolby). 8 kids - makes me wonder if I know what I've gotten myself into. So Kolby is well on his way to leaving that new-born helplessness behind him, he creeps, he sits, he throws, laughs and talks, - HE STILL WON'T TAKE A DARNED DRINK OF FORMULA!!! Keith has been on holidays the last week, and is on holidays this week - of course all that means is that he works harder around the house and doing side projects!!! He has painted, cleaned, built and organized the whole time. Now that lacrosse is over for this season, he really has more free time than he has all year. I like him being around more!
