This post is from from my other blog here Well not too much has happened. I FINALLY started to see my personal trainer - her name is Mandy and she is just super! I go to her three days a week for 8 weeks, 1 hour each time and then after that I have 3 weeks of 2 half-hour sessions and then I'm done with the training. So tomorrow will be my second legs day and I am still recovering from the first legs day. I also try to get to at least one class a week and do as much cardio each day that I can. I got one of those pedometer thingers to see just how much walking I am doing these days. I figure in 1 8 hour shift I walk a few miles, so I'll test it out and see! Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that I am working for a local grocer? Just a couple evenings and some weekend days. It is a union job - my first experience with a union, can't say I'm terribly sold on the whole union thing. Good grief, if it needs to get done an you are capable of doing it, why can't you just do it? I'll tell ya why! Because it is not in your job description, that's why! It is amazing to me no wonder they have to have SO many people working at one time. Jeepers, if everyone just did the work that they were capable of, they would need 1/3 of the employees! But NO, I try to keep myself busy and I get into trouble for it! Ah well! The hours are great and the work isn't bad so I guess I don't really have anything to complain about! The kids are doing great. Jake loves kindergarten! He has come home with some fun new songs and crafts! He has also come home with papers from the school wanting us to buy this and that and pay fees for this and all sorts of jibber-jabber. Man kids are expensive. Got no more to say tonight - still trying to get Jake to clean up his mess - it's not going well! CIAO |
