Jake had his school Christmas concert. They did the "Polar Express" Story. It was very cute. All the classes had different themes, and overall it was really a great concert. It was another milestone in Jake's life - just another reminder of how quickly he is growing up.
Here is the gingerbread house - had been attacked already, but I managed to get a picture of it before it was completely demolished!
We got a fireplace for the bedroom. It is electric, gives off heat, holds books, had built in speakers so you can hide your
tv equipment inside of it and not take away from the appeal of the actual fireplace. If only it could stay clutter free! sigh.
JANUARY--
My mom and dad came out. We had a great visit. Jake's 5th birthday was fun. Nothing elaborate, just perfect!
He had a Pirate's cake and it was a big hit!
Kolby made his mark on the wall!

We took the kids to the
Glenbow museum. Jake really liked it. There is so much to see - almost too much for the kids. I would
definitely go back, maybe break the day up into 2 sessions though!

FEBRUARY--
Of course there was Valentine's Day! Happy Valentines everyone! On Feb 14 we left home, after Jake was done school, for the lake. It was a beautiful drive, very uneventful and we arrived at the house hungry and happy. We got to visit with Keith's parents, Mike, Lalena and the kids, and we went into Kamloops to visit my mom at her new abode! Wayne came up the last Friday we were there with his new puppy "Diesel". Keith's friend Chris and his fiancee Andrea` were there as well. It was really a great visit.

We went to visit Tim, Colleen,
Shailey, Brianna and Brooklyn in Salmon Arm. I haven't seen them in such a long time - it was really great to see them!

Kolby's birthday was yesterday - Feb 28. He turned 2! oh my.
He had a

OH YEAH!!!! Lindsey is crawling - she is mooooving! Once she got the hang of it - she was off and ... crawling!

For Christmas I got pj's for the whole family. It will be one of our Christmas traditions.
I also got stocking hangers to hang our matching stockings on.
