A big hello to all my minti friends.
Hi my name Janice and i'' 57 years old, married to a beautiful man by the name of Steve, he is my soul mate, my best friend and a very caring husband ( pictured with me above ). We live in a little coastal village called Woolgoolga on the north coast of new south wales.Population about 6000,consisting of alot of family owned business'' which we support.We moved here from sydney nearly 11 years ago and have never regretted the move. We live on 5 acres which gives us plenty of freedom, we call it our little piece of paradise. We live in a area of rain forests and the most beautiful beaches around,great for doing walks along which both Steve and i do alot.
I have two grown up children, Jamie who is , single and a CPA, a daughter Jane who is 40,married to David, has two children, Adam and Alya and is a policewoman.
Marriages. This is the second time around for both Steve and I,I have known Steve for twenty years, we have been married for 9 years. In marrying Steve I have adopted an extended family, a son David and his wife Freddie and four beautiful grandkids, Josuha, Zac, Natasha and Annika. Also A daughter Suzanne ...

The Tech guys and girls are on the ball, thanks to them the text editor problem many of us were having is now fixed.
I actually placed my cursor in this blog, without a title and my computer didn't crash! YAY!
Would appreciate some feed back from other members, who were having the same problem.

YaY!
My son Jamie and his fiancé Julya flew into Sydney today, after living and working in England for the past two years, plus travelling for the past 5 months.
I am so happy to know they are back on home soil, yet sad because I know it will be a long time before we see them both.  As their priority will be to find a job and somewhere to live.
It is a good feeling to know they are home safe.
Just a thought to all, treasure and cherish every moment you have with family, I say this because my family is so few. Make every moment count for we only travel this road once.
The last few weeks of their travels Jamie & Julya spent a few days with Marg & Dan, I can not find words to tell you how that made me feel, to know Marg had met almost my whole family.

Well, what a fantastic month that was !!
So many Minti mums, older Members and newer ones, all sharing their experiences and pearls of wisdom, just like Minti used to be ! It was a joy to behold and everyone deserves congratulations for making the site such a positive experience for everyone. The trouble is that everyone can’t be a winner of the “ Minti Featured Member “ competition, which is a real shame after so much participation by so many Members. As you know, Minti has allocated two first prizes of Blurb photo books, and 2 runner up prizes of 2500 Minti moolah. There were so many members who had entered wholeheartedly into the spirit of the occasion and this made it so difficult to pick out just 4.
It was a photo finish and very hard to pick the winners .But they emerged as –  1st prizes go to Happysmile and Zoolooau,
 Runners –up go to Blueraven and Veejay
