Peek-a-boo, everyone, from Jasper, been off the air as we have been hiding away in the woods of Jasper in the most beautiful setting....of woods....wildlife....and the most  amazing lake, with snow all around. And our abode is a log cabin....just awesome.

Peek-a-boo....dear Marg & Jess, it is monday now, just can't believe it.....once we board the Trans Canadian Via train on wednesday....there will be no turning back....haahaa!.

We will have no contact until we arrive in Toronto.....and you will be stuck with us!

I'm gathering Marg, you went up to the cottage, do hope you enjoyed yourself and that your feeling better...as i also gather you were having some problems.....and that your not rushing around like a mad rabbit or you will be in trouble with me, NAG!!!!!!!

Sorry i can't get around to visit everyone as time is limited, you are all in my thoughts and heart.....many thanks for all the beautiful messages and mother's day thoughts. I  sincerely hope everyone had a fantastic day.

A big hello to each and everyone of you, i hope the world is being kind to you....and for those who are having sad times, my  thoughts & prayers go out to you.

It snowed all night here in Banff and the sight we woke to this morning is what treasured  memories are made of.

Banff is nestled 4.540 metres high in amongst majestic mountains (The Rockies) as far as the eye can see....covered in beautiful snow. With graceful pine trees, their branches laddened with snow.....tree lined streets covered in fairy lights, twinkling.

It has an ALPINE ATMOSPHERE.....we could easily be in the swiss alps.

I have never been in snow before although we got pretty  close to it on our New Zealand trip. It was everywhere soft and powdery and perfect for my first ever SNOWBALL which my husband tried unsuccessfully to avoid! haahaa!

But the magic was shortlived....as the sun rose over the mountain peaks and the temperature rose....the thaw began slowly and increased as the day progressed.

First the snow melted and slipped off the the  tree branches....the pavement snow turned to slush and by late afternoon only the surrounding mountains reminded me of what I had earlier experienced!

The fairytale grotto had disappeared....but it will for ever be indelibly engraved in my memory.

Good afternoon to each and everyone of you from Banff....We woke to a Winter Wonderland this morning......snowing!  I have never experienced being in snow so to see snow flakes falling while laying in bed, to rise and see snow covered trees, buildings, cars.....and people, haha!......including myself.....like a school girl   just can't put into words the feeling of jubulation....the sheer delight of watching the snow falling on the trees.

We are now in Banff after our 2 day total indulgence train ride on the "Rocky Mountaineer" words Totally Awesome....Spectacular & Majestic can't download photo's from here sorry.

We just picked up our car but with driving on the wrong side of the road in this snow is not our cup of tea...so we are going to have an relaxing day today.

Marg just 8 more days....  my dream is coming to a time, to wake up and that magic  moment is going to happen   I don't think i'll get a chance to lounge hop today, sorry and i know some of my friends are having such sad times at present.....my thoughts & prayers and giant big hugs go out to you all.

And to all be kind to each other and Steve & I are sending you all our love xxxxx

 Well i wasn't going to be on the computer today as Steve was just downloading pictures from his camera so it would be free for our trip on the "Rocky Mountaineer" the next 2 days.....just thought i would check what he was up to and he had 10 mintues left so i decided to take a peek into Marg's blog and broke down all emotional  . So Steve went and bought me some  more time.....Marg how are we going to be in real life in just 2 weeks time, a total mess, i reckon....i'm bad enough just reading coments.

But i had to let a few people know that i was still keeping an eye on them....i know i'll miss mentioning  alot of people....but to everyone i miss you so very much, i feel like i'm away from my family.

Congratulations Fi....wow i'm going to be an aunty, how thrilled i am for you all, gee gosh i can't go away for a SECOND!

Arna my thoughts go with you sweet and only the best of vibes come your way.

Hope everything went well for my little man Jaydee and that things are settling down for Lui & Stephen.

And anniebabe keep that lead foot off the pedal of the new Zoom Zoom car, haha!

Ally we will be in Banff in 2 more days, gee getting so close, will ring as soon as we arrive, sweetie!
