Glad to hear that you are surviving the rigors of a Melboune winter (well, nearly winter ). Today is 23 deg. and beautiful. 

Our dinner the other night was quite perfect. We shared a chateaubriand cooked at the table whilst listening to a pianist playing one of my favourite pieces, which I used to play many years ago. Beethovens Moonlight Sonata !

Have never been sure about the stars, but assume that Taurus means perfection ! in which case I am now a convert !

Our thoughts today are less on my birthday, but more on the anniversary of our spectacular( 2.30 am ) arrival at your home in Jess's white Jag !. so hard to believe that a year has flown by since then.  Also more concerned about your detereorating health, which i know you try to keep secret from us, but the less you talk to us, the more serious we know your condition to be !   We hope that you are resting as ordered, and not rescuing flood damaged docks !!  Consider   yourself officially reprimanded !  My 70 years of accumulated wisdom did not accompany me to the golf course ! It is highly selective strain of wisdom ( a bit like swine flu ) which is never with me when i need it !   And i confess that we have never drunk ice wine since sitting in your spa at the cottage. It would never taste the same ! So you concentrate on recovering your health and supply us with timely updates. We are on your case !!

I do believe that my legs are getting sexier wirh age ! Is that possible ? i will consult the Guiness book of records, to see if there is any real competition for them. I rather doubt it, but may decide to wait a few years to let them properly mature. Watch out !

I was referring to A. my daughter who thinks a birthday isn't a birthday until the cake makes an appearance...LOL!  She L-O-V-E-S cake....me not so much (lol).... My little girl takes after her Dad when it comes to sweets.

I showed her the cake, she said it reminds her of a beautiful day...LOL!
