Steve flew out of Sydney around 10am, you might have passed him and didn't even know it!

Yes Mand nothing beats Sydney and the Harbour, especially at night...did they have the lights on the bridge for you...I did ask them to Haa Haa!

Steve landed in Perth to be told by his son that he is in charge of looking after his 4 grandkids for 2 days as his son was taking his wife away for the weekend to celebrate her birthday....don't know what the kids are going to eat as Steve is hopeless as far as cooking....Haa Haa!

Haha, I can just see it. They will survive, kids have there tricks. They can always order in pizza! The kids may cook for him! Or make him sandwiches for dinner, depending on the age. He will love it, I bet!

 Hope they like pizza's and fish & chips hehe! Yes he most certainly loves it and the time he spends with his grandkids as it is only once a year.

If you knew how bad Steve is in the kitchen ( ask Marg), I wouldn't want to leave my children in his care to be feed Haa Haaa! He can manage bake beans on toast & poached eggs that is his limit.

Not good it is raining there and stopping you from having your walk, I just got back from a beautiful walk on this gorgeous sunny sunday...a bit walking this morning as it was high tide and not much sand to walk on, plus it was  soft, yucky.

 Steve is in Perth Mel visiting with his son, DIL and 4 grandkids, he goes over every year....yep we fit together like a pair of old socks and don't do well being apart.

 Annie, I thought of you wanting to watch a sunrise while here, you were there with me as I was waiting in the dark waiting to see the sun pop it's head up over the horizon.

Yep 17 long days, this is the longest time we have been apart in all our years together. 

A T.V  meal for dinner ( don't tell Marg) but I enjoyed the chocolate Corneto yummy.! A walk along my beach tomorrow I will enjoy after  having a good nights sleep, with the help of a little pill.

Just heard from Steve he arrived safely.

Steve went to visit with his family in Perth last November.

We are never happy are we, it is amazing how much it has dried out just this past week....a shower would be nice just to freshen things up...they are saying no rain till around the middle of August. The days have been gorgeous.

We'll have to meet up in Coffs one day soon. I do drive up most Wednesdays to take Luke from school to uni but usually drive straight back. So maybe we could fit a quick coffee in one week?
