Oh Janice.  I can understand your excitment but sadness.  It is great your son is off on an adventure to the UK, it is certainly worth it.  The time will fly by and you will see him soon enough...maybe you could go off for a visit, if you have some dough left after Canada that is!!  I'm looking forward to hearing all about Canada - i think it would be amazing over there.

Well I've just realised I'm naming my son the same as yours! I'm a bit slow. I can understand how bittersweet your visit with him would be. When I see Annie, I miss her all the more afterwards.

Its great that you get to spend some quality time with him before they leave but I feel for you having to say goodbye. Goodbyes are never easy and knowing its a long timeframe is going to be hard. HUGS!

how exciting  enjoy jamies visit which im sure you will . you have a fine son there and not just in looks.he reminds me of my 2 boys, a picure can paint a thousand words trust me and im not biased!!!

oh canada apart from the spectacular scenery you get to meet at long last marg as you two always say you"feel you know each other already" everything is going to be so surreal . make sure you snap away plenty of those photos because you both will be in "that dream state:"

it will be magical im sure and the tears will run . janice the days now will fly by in no time . and once again enjoy your visit with jamie and saviour those moments which im sure you will

Oh Janice. Well...time to start with a new policy. No goodbyes,just "until later"!!!  My heart goes out for you dear Lady with your bitter sweet visit. But make the most of it as he will be so excited about the new phase in his life and he will just be a reason to visit the Great Isle! He will be sad to leave you too but I know how a great mother like you will feel. Love can stretch that far,I know yours can.

Jess is crazy excited!!! Me too! I have waited forever but now it doesn't seem like any time at all!!! Geeees,tell Knee Man that I had a window open yesterday!!! A window open...do you know what that means!!! That in itself is a Canadian moment!  The knees may be able to come out!!! Heeee,heee,I know how important this is to Steveeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Hi Janice,great that your son is coming for a visit before he leaves for the UK will be a loverly time I am sure but a sad one when he leaves.But getting oh so close for your holiday.We will all miss you so much while you are away.But you so much deserve this holiday.Looking forward to hopefully seeing some pics of you and Marg.wish I could have a holiday atm lol.Hope you have a great time with your son.

Hope you have a fantastic time with your son, I can imagine the inner conflict of wanting to see him but dreading the goodbye. My daughter went to stay with my brother and SIL in iceland for 3 months and I was a blubbering idiot saying bye at the airport so can't imagine how conflicted you feel

Don't forget you are not allowed to visit him in England without letting me know, I will drive through fog, rain, snow, hurricanes, darkness, heatwave, whatever it takes just to have a "real" coffee and chat with you !!!!!

Just can't wait to hear about your time with Marg, I think we are all waiting with baited breath to hear about that part of your trip !!!!!!

I know you're going to miss him terribly and seeing him will be bitter sweet.......just lap up the time you'll have together. He's going to miss you too!!!!

Gosh where has the time gone......I remember talking about the trip with you at Christmas time and it was a long way off then........You and Steve are going to have the time of your lives. Just make sure you take lots of pics, I'd love to able to experience a little of Canada, even if it is thorugh you and Steve.

Janice and Steve, I can't wait to see the blogs about your trip and the meet up with Marg. I bet you are so excitied.

I imagine that it is a mixed blessing getting to see James, but treasure the time you spend, and know that there is a place for you to stay if you decide to visit the UK.
