I can't imagine how hard it must have been to put your son on a plane.  I am praying for you to have some comfort because I know this is so hard for you.  As we go through each stage of life we seem to continue to have things to deal with and just when we think everything is going smoothly, something else seems to creep up from behind and teach us another life lesson. 

I hope you're feeling better and focusing on your dream trip!  You always encourage and inspire others....and once again you've shown us that even when things are difficult, there's always something brighter coming up just around the bend.

I know you and Steve will have a wonderful time....don't forget to take us all along with you, between your pictures and your writing, we will also get to enjoy a DREAM HOLIDAY!

oh janice when i first got onto minti it was you and marg that i noticed. both you and marg think alike and are both wise

im sure there will be tears from both of you. tears of hapiness and joy 

yes until later sounds much better than goodbye. im sure those 6 days just flew by.  yeah and hold on to those dreams because thats what life is all about. 

as for the freddo frogs yummy i love the peppermint and strawberry ones yummmy yummy yummy !!! white chocolates not bad my mouth is watering thinking about them!!

oh and you will  meet jess !!! wow what a trip!

Aww how sad to see your son go.. I know how you feel after leaving my family behind half-way around the world a couple of weeks ago. It is hard, but you are only a plane ride away! Go visit, I am sure you will love the UK.

So cool. It is getting so close. Hey what about the caramello koalas? I can feel the excitement in the air and I am so happy for you. Glad you had a wonderful time with your son and daughter in law. I am sure that it was sad to part but with this modern age at least it is some comfort that we can all stay in such close contact no matter how far the distance. Take care, Lynette xx

What is Freddo Frog's??? Is that what they use in vegemite??? You still going to smuggle that stuff into fair Canadian soil?? What if Canada is never the same again??? I don't know..Ozbinky might miss that one jar of the stuff...I hear she's quite fond of it!! She's still off fishing and will never hear that!! LOL!!!  Someone made a useful comment here that maybe a large bonus size of the extra strong toilet paper should be installed near or on us..that way an more even flow of tissue!!!! What you think? Hugs to you until they are real!!!  Can you imagine it Janice? I try and I can't quite get it! You are really going to be here!! Oh I am going to hug you soooo much!!!

I'm so glad the cloud has lifted....I felt it from here!!

I can imagine how excited you are about the trip......and I can just see the two of you giggling and chatting away while the male folk roll their eyes and do just as much chatting themselves.

I do have a dream.....only the person isn't as far away but it's just as hard to make that dream come true.....one day it will.

It seems like yesterday when you were first saying you were going. Now it is less than 2 weeks away. I am so excited for you.

I read Marg's blog too, and the both of you sound like excited little kiddies on Christmas morning!  I'm sure you are all going to have a wonderful time.  Don't worry about the men, they will be too busy nattering about how well you ladies natter! lol.  So excited for you!

 Dear Cham, thankyou for your beautiful thoughts....yes i sure did have mixed emotions on dropping my son off at the airport.....no matter how old your children get you still miss  and worry for them.

What you said about dreams is oh so true....we all need to have dreams.....and just on the quiet a loving husband that knew just how much i wanted this dream to come true.
