Kids who are different get teased. Kids who help them have empathy. Empathy is being aware of and caring about another's feelings. Consider discussing this moral dilemma with your child.
The new kid on your block is small for his age. He wants to make friends because he is lonely. All the kids tease him. When the popular kids call him names, he hides his tears by running home.
