Parent Affirmations: One Example to Consider

by JeanTracyComment Published at 20:2320:232 comments2 comments151 Visits151 VisitsReport

Hi Everyone,

Recently, I found an affirmation that  I wrote to my son, Scott, when he was fifteen. He's a successful businessman now with a loving family of his own.

Scott had a special role in his school play. He had put his heart and soul into it. The following is a note I wrote to him about his performance:

Dear Scott,

I was awed. You had class. You had presence, voice and strength. Your performance was mature and commanding. Last night I saw a glimmer of your potential. I will always respect your abilities.

All my love,

Mother

If you like the above, consider it when giving your own kids affirmations. Be truthful and touch your kids' hearts.  They'll grow with your kind words.
