My god kids grow quick.
My little one is pushing every thing around that is not tied down.
My middle one is four with an attitude, but is generally a good kid and will do anything for a sticker.
My older one is into her teenage years and we are feeling it.
My hubby is working hard, and I am lazing around the house doing parenting, house wifey stuff.. I even baked cookies today.
My car gets a new battery on monday and some nice clean oil. Oh she will be happy, now all she needs is a bath.. But it is to cold to stand outside and wash a car.. I could take her to the car wash I supose... But where is the love in that.. :) Francis has totally muddied the back of the seats.
I am so looking forward to a well deserved night out with the hubby. We have had an invite to a night out of dinner and dancing. Husband has promised one dance if it is slow.. Good thing my mother in-law is coming too.. :) Am very excited about that. We need a little excitement around here at the moment.. Or at least I do.. Feel a little stuck in a rut. Want to work, but am so not ready for it, don't want to work, but need it... It is hard... LOL Anyway not much to report but figured I'd better say something..
hope all is well with you all.. xxx |

She'll push anything that moves now... :) Unfortunately her favorite thing to push is a blue box of Francis's crafts.. If it is upside down on it's blue lid it falls over and she topples over with it.. But if it is on it's flat bottom, then she is happy as larry. So I had to find this old toy of Francis's and she just loves it.

I think it is time for a new Battery...
My car refused to start the other night. I had put my car behind hubby's so that the little kiddies could walk up the driveway to get their goodies on Halloween night. Hubby requested that I go pick something up at the store for him, I got in my car, and it coughed and said "I ain't going no where"... So I go get the battery charger and find that I need a second extension cord to reach the battery. We don't have a second extension cord.. So I decided to ask the hubby to help me push the car into the street so that I can get his car out... We go to push my car, but alas, the steering was locked... And so parked in a most unusual way in the driveway. Actually looked like a drunk had come and parked it... Hubby having a 4x4 massive thing, managed to get out from the front of my car up over the curb (thankfully we don't have 100% nice grass) and he ended up going to the shops for himself. Car battery is now charged and my car has a nice warm spot in the garage again. Now tomorrow is a new set of winter tires. I think I will ask about a new battery while there... Maybe even a service.. Mind you last time I asked about a service the guy did not want to do it because he normally does not service my type of car. But I figured it is past warranty, and I plan to drive it until it dies, so if I need special parts for it I can just order them for him. Otherwise I don't mind him servicing it at all. I am sure he'd do a good job, friend of the family and all... :)
It's not what you know it's who you know.. LOL |

Ok it snowed last week.. Just a little.. Enough to upset my Jag... But only long enough to get to the top of one hill... My father in-law has a steep driveway and I got stuck at the bottom. It surprise snowed us, and I don't yet have my winter tires... I brought brand new tires for the summer and next week I'll have the winter ones.. Anyway I could not get out so the FIL got in the car and helped me out..
He got in, put it in sports mode, and floored it to the top of the hill.. When I got to the top of the hill I could smell my Brand new summer tires Melting.. :) Oh well that did not last long on the snow.. Got home safe enough though...
There was something I was going to blog about, but have totally forgotten what it was all about..
Oh wait..
My little girl can't get up on her knees (or just does not want to) to crawl. She still gets around like G.I. Jane..
Anyway yesterday I watched her climb from the downstairs lounge all the way up to her bedroom.. She was most proud of herself. I had to stand behind her to make sure she did not fall because well other then she is still really tiny, she wanted to try sitting on the step a couple of times but realized she could not so soldered on to the top... Oh big smiles when she got there... LOL
Other then that.. Life is still plodding along..

Now while I am having a small string of luck there is some bad in there as well.. More so for the hubby...
My husband handed over the keys to a brand new house to one of his clients on Friday who had installed their new dishwasher and started painting...
A couple of weeks back someone broke into the model house he has and smashed their front door (I will never have a glass door). Due to having no phones yet (because the phone company is incompetent) they are yet to be able to install the alarm system. Anyway there was minor damage done... Now out of all the contractors there he was the only one broken into.
But this week.....
The poor people who happily received their keys to their brand new home, installed the dishwasher, only to have the police call them to tell them the house had been broken into.. .
Hubby got called to the office at 6am this morning by these clients and found that their kitchen was missing... They took all the new cupboards, but this time theirs was not the only house that was broken into... The other model houses too.. They all had stuff taken.. Who ever did it knew what they were doing. It had to be someone else setting up house because they stole the kitchen cupboards, the peoples brand new dishwasher and from other houses the new fixtures and other stuff like that....
Honestly what is this world coming too??????????? |

The other night I was having trouble sleeping... So I went downstairs and looked out the window and saw what I thought was rubbish on the lawn out front...
It was about 2am...
The next day I got in my car and all the little spots that could be open was, the glove box, the money tray (no money in it), the other little tray thing I am not sure what it is used for, and the console in the middle of the front seats... Plus the drink holders.
Then I realized I would not have done that, so someone had been in my car, hubby looking at me as I got out and wandered around the doors to see evidence of a break in.. No evidence because dickhead here left the door unlocked. (SORRY STEVE)...
SO I was just thankful that I had taken my wallet inside (mind you it is usually left in the car because I am stupid and I often forget my cell phone too), But I brought a new case for that so it won't happen again)....
Anyway hubby said anything missing and I looked and there was my "Just in case" Case missing... My just in case case, has a pair of gloves, some dried jerky or what ever it is called, candle, matches and one of those safety blankets and a few other stuff for just in case I get stuck in my car somewhere. Hubby gave me the lecture about locking the car, duh ok I know that one, I forgot sorry...... Anyway then I hear Francis calling me to look at something... He showed me the rubbish that I saw left on the lawn the night before.... It was the contents and case of my Just in case. I guess they thought it was something special.. LOL How sad for them...
Anyway that morning after I dropped Francis off at day care I went to deposit a check in the bank... Now this time I know I locked all my car doors.... But when I got back to the car all my car windows were half way down.. ALL OF THEM... And I later discovered thankfully before the rain came that my sun roof was slightly open too...
Now tell me how the hell do all of my electric windows open with out the key in the ignition???? When you turn off the car and open the door it cuts the current and you can't open the windows unless you put the key back in the ignition.. I was a little freak out by this because my only explanation is that someone did it by remote.. BUT HOW.. I don't even have one.. And it is not one of those cars where you can open the windows all at the same time from a distance.. At least not that I know of... GRRRRRRRR.. Again freaky....
Anyway that is all from me for now.. Bye all hope your all well and happy xxxx |

You know the old saying...
"I never win anything!" Well as I got to thinking, that is not entirely correct.. It is just that the wins are so far between that I never remember.. But last night I was talking about the Romba to a friend and she asked me where I brought it.. OH MY GOSH I actually won that...
The reason I say OH MY GOSH... Is because not 10 minutes before I was telling her how last week I won a $1000 dollar gift certificate for "BRICK", though a radio station. The lady rang me to tell me I'd won and I said Yipppeee.. .Thing is I never thought I'd win it which is why I entered the competition anyway.. I am not 100% fan of the Brick, their service is lousy and the last time we brought from them it took them we had to replace 3 bedroom mirrors... The first one arrived broken, second one unattached.. Third one unattached so eventually they got a guy to come around and attach the mirror to its frame which is why it broke last time because they picked it up and the mirror slipped.. We learned from that one to be more gentel with the second one.. Anyway to cut a long story short....... I had points to use to enter a comp and that was the only one there that looked even remotely enticing... So I won...
Hubby asked me when he found out I'd won (Knowing how I felt about the store, I was still excited though), if I'd prefer the cash, so his company brought the certificate from me... But the deal was I had to spend the cash on me and me only...
Problem is with so many things coming up at once $1000 can go in a day with all the little things like a snow suit for Judiane, dentist, new snow tires, service to the car, and other things...
Anyway I am trying to keep up my end of the bargain but it is not easy.. The only way to keep up with my end of the bargain is not to leave the house unsupervised.. Honestly if I do I will go spend that money on other stuff that is either needed or not for me...
Weird thing is when I think about it, if I had extra money all the time the things I would buy yes would be for the kids, but the pleasure my hubby would get out of buying himself a new DVD or Game for the xbox is the same pleasure I'd get out of buying a decoration for the house, or a new tool for the kitchen.. Weird how that works.. But he says that is not for me that is for the house it does not count and is not in the rules... THe other day I snuck out on my own and got a new case for my cell phone as I got sick of leaving it in my coat pocket and never hearing it, or leaving it in the car.. GRRRRRRR So now I can have it on me so when the hubby calls I can actually answer it before it goes to voice mail.. ANd I also got a new keyboard. Those things were just for me.. Ok I share the keyboard with Cam.. LOL But that is still counted I think.. LOL Oh and I got my hair done.. LOL So I did three things for me..
Anyway truth be told I won't use the money on myself. The minute I leave the house alone and go into the darn supermarket I'll be using that money to buy diapers or something.. I so suck... :) OH Well....
I am sure there are mothers out there who know exactly what I mean.. When there is money that we are allowed to spend we don't use it on ourselves.. We find something more practical.. GRRRRR.. LOL

I got to go to my husbands opening of his new project today.. What a grand affair it was.. Champagne before lunch, and then a lovely lunch, wine if wanted... But I had a glass of Champagne and that was enough for me, I don't normally drink the stuff.. :)
Anyway this morning right before my hubby was putting on his suit to leave for his big to do, he says how about asking Andrea to look after Judiane.... I said but she won't come here, so I'd have to drive into montreal drop her off, then drive back and get ready, then go back pick her up and drive home again then get Francis. Andrea lives 45 minutes away depending on traffic one way.... He says "But I really want you to come"... Then I had a flash... There is a woman I speak to often and Francis plays with her son, and she lives on our street... That and she is also the daughter of a friend I worked with for awhile, and my hubby built her house, so I do know her we just don't do dinners together.. :)
Anyway she said yes, and I got to go.. Judiane was awesome for her. I was a bit worried as she was sleeping when I dropped her off... But Sandra asked me "Is she always so quiet." Not always, but today awesome...
Janice & Marg.. I do think of you both often. I just suck at keeping in touch at the moment..

I said a while back that I'd be keeping up with Minti... I guess I lied.. I did not mean too..
Anyway here is a small update...
Francis likes his new day care, Judiane is dragging herself around on the floor, not crawling, but dragging.. Most amusing.
Camille is growing into a young woman... That is rather scary... I am finding myself in all kinds of emotions over that, and it is just well weird for me... :)
I have been sitting here biding my time waiting for my niece to be born. My SIL had been given three different due dates.. And the last one was on the 1st of October.. The first was the 26th of September.. If the due by date was in fact the 26th of September then little Coralie is well and truly cooked. I have been waiting because I am to look after my SIL's boys should I need to when Bubs decides to come out, I am also on standby just in case her hubby and mum can't get there quicker then I can. I can hold her hand until the others arrive. Thankfully hubby does not work to far away so I can call him to come and watch the kids.
I need a babysitter for Monday.. GRRRR but all my Baby sitters are going to where I need to go, so I can't ask them... My hubby has the grand opening of his new Project and I should be there to support him, but it is no place for little kidlets.. As Francis goes to day care that is not a problem, but Judiane it is not to good for her on the building site. And I'd have to hold her for a full three hours as there will be no where to pop her down on the floor so she can drag herself around which she so loves doing. And if she falls asleep that is not to bad, but three hours of eating and looking at model houses is just not my Idea of fun when with bubs... So I will have to stay home.. Hubby knows I still support him though..
Anyway more later.. Sorry about the small update... But there will be more later with Photos.. xxx
