Ok why put your hands together.. If you have been reading about my toilet training tryouts, it has nothing to do with that.. LOL
Today for the first time in months possibly a year my son has fallen to sleep before 8.30pm. Yipppeeeeee.
We had a minor toilet break though this afternoon no peeing but he was excited to sit on his Thomas the tank engine toilet seat. That was after a few hours of him screaming because he did not want his pull ups. He kept calling them undies and did not believe me when I told him they were diapers, so after I started pulling my hair out I put a diaper on, and realized I could have saved myself all the trouble and just put them on him in the first place... He was more then happy to try his Thomas seat after he had his other nappies on... LOL Anyway so now when I say lets sit on Thomas, he counts the trains around the outside of the toilet seat, tells me that it is for a big boy and he sits on it.... And I even gave him a big boy magazine to read just like papa.... (MOTOR BIKES)
After that I immediately stopped pulling my hair out and smiled at my big boy...
Hubby rang today, said they did the Eppicot (SP?) center at Disney not as exciting as most things.. But he said it was still good... He said he misses me, and I said I miss him, and there are only three more sleeps until he comes home... LOL He was sitting by the a swimming pool at the time he called watching Camille. He really does not like to swim in pools because kids pee in there... LOL
Anyway thats it for now.. Night. xxxx |

Ok well time to reupholster (SP)? one of the kitchen chairs... Good thing we were going to do it anyway...
So we started the morning off in a diaper and went to feed the ducks at about 8am as i had tons of left over bread and Francis was ready to just do something.. Ants in his pants.. We came back and he wanted to play in the little pool, so I told him to take his clothes off and he asked for his underwear like a big boy... So I jumped at the chance...
Anyway changed those into a dry pair after a dip in the pool and while he was sitting there on the chair eating an apple he decided to watch himself pee, at first I thought he spilt his drink... I said "NOOOOO We pee in the toilet!" So off he went. Took off his big kid undies and he peed the rest in the toilet. After he got off we all jumped around high fives and lets get a cadoux.. (Present).... As he did pee in the toilet too.. And he remembered mum said a few days ago if he pees in the toilet I was going to buy him a fish.... So off we went.... But as we were looking at the fish he peed again... So off we went to find the guy with a mop.. Opppssss sorry MR..... Thankfully I was smart enough to take some more clothes with me... We went and changed his clothes and by choice he made an effort to sit on the toilet at Walmart and pushed what little pee he could, he jumped up and wanted high fives again... So we did, but I told him we would wait for the fish.
Anyway I figure it is a start.. We brought some lollies for the next time he pees on the toilet... So heres looking forward to the next time... :) We also got some night time pull ups with Buzz Lightyear which he was most excited about and I figured I'd get some other pull ups with cars on them as we are going out to the in-laws on wednesday and trust me when I say there is no way I'd be able to afford to reupholster their chairs... :)
Heres hoping to more pee on the toilets... :) |

I tried lets take the diaper off... Lets just say I gave in after an hour of complaining from Francis that his penis was hanging out... LOL
Poor kid did not like the feel... But later in the afternoon I managed to get a pair of jocks on him while we played outside, but the minute we came back inside he wanted his diaper back on... GRRRRRRR
My Question is and I would love answers although I am going to go looking through toilet training advice, what do you do when the kid complains non stop to put his diaper back on?????? And refuses to even go sit on the toilet????? GRRRRR his underwear had Pirates on it which was a big seller in the first place, but he wanted his diaper back.. GRRRRRR.. Ok maybe I will have better luck tomorrow.. :)
Remember how yesterday I said it rained on the hubby and Camille in Disneyland while on a ride???? Well husband reported in today that the camera no longer works.. It got wet.. AHHHHHHHH OH well...
Francis is asleep, so far we have been averaging on 9pm sleep time for him only an hour after he goes to bed.. I can tell you why too, because daddy is not here to talk to him.. Daddy can't stand the screaming or the mummy calls, so daddy talks to him... I keep telling him if you ignore it he will sleep... :) But no daddy does not listen to mummy.. So I must admit I have enjoyed that...
In fact, Francis has been a great little kid the last few days, no complaints what so ever, might also be because I don't have a book I'd like a few minutes to sit down and read.. Even the dog is being great.. LOL
Might have to send the hubby away more often..
But I must say, I miss the man. Who wouldn't... LOL Any I decided to fill up my week so we are out every night next week until Thursday when I go pick them up...
anyway that is all i have for now..
Chat later. .xxxx |

Yesterday as the title said, it rained and rained and then rained some more.. In fact we are expecting more this week...
Hubby and Cam checked in around 11pm last night... Told me they got totally soaked by rain on one of the rides, had to go and get changed... LOL Hubby also mentioned his photo with Cinderella. Operantly she asked him out but he said no..
Yesterday I cleaned house.. And did a good job too.. Today well I am bored.. I am doing exactly what I normally do only well, I did not realize how boring it really is... With out any of the back ground noise... :) Francis and I how ever did a bit of cranking up the stereo and danced around a bit, with the vacuum.. :)
Now I am just quietly waiting for my friend David to ring as he said he was coming over, he is one of those guys who if you need will be there in a pinch, if he is not halfway across the world.. He actually introduced me and the hubby together, and when don't tell him but later we are going to ask him to be godfather of our baby.
Speaking of Baby, have stopped bleeding yippee...
All is going well here just find the quiet boring.. Although I have lovely sparkling clean toilets, and a lovely smelling house.. But thats about it.. :)
Oh and for the last two nights, I went to bed early.. I was actually asleep when the hubby checked in..

I don't believe how quiet the house is...
Hubby's not home so I can't hear the telly, or him playing games, and Francis is actually asleep. Oh so quiet. I am even thinking about going to bed.
Today was a lovely day.
I have met a lady a while back that I see regularly now thanks to our dogs, and she is a cross between Marg and Janice. My son has attached himself to her and she just adores him. She has invited us to her house this week and Francis got really excited thinking we were going this afternoon as we left the park, he was a little upset.. But got over it quick enough.
Dropped hubby and Camille off at the airport today, Francis was most upset that he could not stay with them. Because they were going to the states they were not allowed to sit around and wait for the plane with us, they had to go straight though to check out... They arrived safe, and I was told it was early to bed for them... I am assuming Camille will have them up early ready and eager to go.. I almost wonder if I should give the hubby a wake up call due to the fact that he has issues with early mornings....
Tomorrow I am going to rest it up, then next week busy busy busy finding things for us to do while daddy is away. Francis spent part of the evening asking me where dad and Camille were, I explained they were on a plane and he was happy with that.. At least for a little bit, I had to keep repeating it.. LOL
Anyway that is my news for now..

Husbands up stairs ready to take a shower...
Dog is in his cage because he is annoying the crap out of the kids.
The kids are watching cartoons...
The kids this morning woke up at 5.30am.. Why??? Francis I have no idea as to why he woke up that early. But Camille well she is off with Hubby to Disneyland today. So I know her excuse...
For some reason I was wide awake at 5.30am this morning.. But I am starting to crash now and it is only 20 to 9am. I think I am a little low on the iron, so I best be eating a few steaks this week... Need to ask the doctor about that.
Still bleeding a little, still not to worried although it would be nice to stop, it is even making me reconsider mowing the lawn. It has stopped this morning but it is an on and off again thing... I think I will wait until my next doc appointment before I start doing anything as exciting as mowing lawns...
Day care is closed for two weeks, so I have to look after my own child. I mean what is up with that. :) Actually I am really looking forward to doing a few things with him this week, a little friend of Francis and the friends mother are going to come over and we might go and find some interesting activities to do. We want to go to Park Safari, but Hubby says I am not allowed to take my car through the animals. Which is understandable, but I am not going to tell the other kids mum that we can't go because of my car. She just got a second hand car herself so maybe she'll be excited and want to drive. Reasons for not taking my car is because we have to go through the animals and they come up to the window and such and Hubby is afraid I might get some animal damage. Bummer. I don't want to put the other ladies car through that either so I have managed to find another place full of animals we can walk around.. I don't really like the Gramby Zoo here, I think I have been spoiled by seeing how fantastic the enclosures are at the Melbourne Zoo.
It will be interesting to see how things go this week with just Francis and I at the house, actually I am kind of excited about it because well, when Francis goes to sleep I have things that I want to get done, not only that they won't become undone because of to many people in the house, for example, all washing will make its way into the wash basket, and not on the floor. And the dishes will be in the dishwasher and not beside the sink. Simple things, but it will be nice to have a clean house for a week.. LOL
Anyway thats my news for now. |

So excited, I just got an e-mail from a friend of mine whom I have not seen since 2003. She is going to come and see me in April next year... She is booking her tickets this week... So excited...
I have an Aunt who will be here this November, and of course renovations, and baby and other family members coming to visit when baby is born.... WOW this is going to be fun... :)
I have to get the basement sorted out this week so that when hubby comes back from Disney we can start moving stuff to start the renovations for our new bedroom....
Hubby and Cam leave tomorrow for Disney. On Wednesday next week the dog is going away for the night so Francis and I can go stay at my in-laws lake house.. It would be nice if I could send Francis away too.. LOL I do love it at the Lake house, I just have to watch Francis very very carefully.... As it is a down hill run to the lake.. And there are many things of interest for him his eyes to catch a look at and go running for, so I will while enjoying the lake be busy watching him.. But it will be nice doing it some where then here....
Anyway way I guess I better go do stuff.. xxxxx |

While sitting on the loo this morning, I was thinking back to my pregnancy with Francis...
Other then one month of sore boobs, and one small and did not last long faint feeling, I had no complaints what so ever...
But this one leads me to believe I am having a girl because the baby is giving me what ever it feels is necessary to let me know she is there... Ok we won't find out until September exactly what what sex bubs is but the way it is going I think girl...
I say to much information because as thinking this I was on the loo with bloody pains that well the kind that want to make you faint.. I hear that a lot of people suffer from constipation while pregnant, not me... Once or twice a day, the pains come I want to kill someone then have to run to the loo quick as possible and hope the kid and dog don't follow for a conversation which is usually the case.... I can't remember the last time I had a regular bowl movement... See I told you to much information.... You are allowed to laugh if you feel it necessary, I laugh myself thinking I can't believe I am sharing this information with anyone who wants to read it.. But hey we are all mothers here, or about to be mothers and so on, and a few dads, who could probably appreciate the fact that at one time or another during pregnancy they feared for their life from their pregnant wives... :)
And now that I am three months along I thought morning sickness was supposed to be stop, who said that anyway???? I don't know if it really is morning sickness or me just giving myself a reason to eat Vegemite on toast at all hours of the night. But it helps.. THANK YOU JANICE AND STEVE. One jar down and three to go.. I am trying not to over do it as my next supply won't be until someone comes to visit me... OH I just remembered I have an aunt who is coming in November... Oh I hope she brings me some.. :)
All of this I am sure is coming to me because for some reason I was a little upset I missed all the pregnant feelings with Francis.. I found out I was five months pregnant and then the whole thing seemed to be over in a flash... Not this time... :) I have always heard that you should be careful what you wish for. While I have not actually been over ill, I hate the feelings it gives me. And for some reason now I actually cry in sad parts of movies... I don't like movies that make me cry and normally that does not happen.. OH Well knock it up to hormones... :)
Francis is taking a nap, I hope he wakes up at 2.30pm because we have to go and visit Murray's friend at the dog park... :) Speaking of the dog, he is still more then happy to get into the car, although he seems to be a little more careful when looking out the window... :)
Bye for now xxxx |

How I miss the rain on a tin roof... :)
But all I have to do is sit in the basement and listen to it through my sons monitor... :) Sounds almost the same.. LOL

of my moving car...
I have electrical windows.. The dog likes to put his head out the window... I have a lock to lock the back windows, but not the front.. Dog puts foot on button window goes down, I turn corner and out goes the dog... OH MY GOD.. I am soooooo lucky he is not hurt, and no one was behind me at the time...
I was shown how to tie the dog in the car so he does not go jumping all over me while driving.. But in doing this the leash was long enough for him to be dragged a little. Not long I stopped almost immediately. I would have stopped sooner but I would have been in the middle of the intersection, as it was where I stopped was not the safest at all, but hell my dog just fell out the window, and I'd have liked to see anyone try and stop me from stopping... Because he was tied, I believe he will have a bit of a sore neck tomorrow... But he seemed a unharmed, just a little shaken, to the point of peeing in my car... Yes he got back in and peed on the leather seats, but for those of you who know what i drive, I really did not care at all... I took off my jumper and put it on the seat, had to mop it up, and sure I hope it does not smell tomorrow, but my dog is alive and that is what matters most. I can't believe he fell out the bloody window...
Some may laugh, and I guess in a way it was a little funny looking over to see the dogs ass slip, and yet at the same time realizing what was happening, I felt so bad, but was very happy that I was not going over 20km.. As I had just stopped at a stop sign and was turning I was not going fast at all... I got out of the car to find my dog shaken and sitting calmly beside the car, had I have been going any faster it would have taken longer to stop and he would have been dragged, his butt did not touch the ground exactly and the poor dog had a choker chain on...
But to end this story, he is alive, and looks fine, i will just keep an eye on him to make sure nothing develops... But hey he swallowed a zipper and is still kicking so I think he'll be just fine, but i think he should ride in the back now where I have control over the windows...
I should have seen this as a sign the other day when he put his foot on the button and he got his head caught... Lucky I have buttons for his window on my side... Wish I had of seen it before he fell out.. xxxx |
