DOGS BACK...

Comment Published at 19:3219:325 comments5 comments17 Visits17 VisitsReport

And oh my what a start... He ate a 25cm zipper. I tried to give him a brand new pillow for sleeping on... OH how wrong I was, he ate the last three why should now be any different..

He ate the bloody zipper... it was a very thin zipper, but still long.. I can't remember if it was made of plastic or Metal either way I am sure it can't be healthy for him....   So I have to keep an eye on him.  To late to go to the vets, who knows I am hoping he chewed it into bits, (which is usually the case with him when he chews stuff) and he can pass it little by little...

I can't afford 3000$ to unzip a dog should he get into trouble.. Hubby has already called me an idiot and said I should have learned from the last three pillows I gave him.   But I just can't bare the thought of him sleeping on the plastic of the bottom of his cage..  I mean would you like to sleep on nothing..  Anyway I am an idiot I should have known... Trainer lady said don't give him anything to sleep on because he will hurt himself.. UM DUH....  I am such a fool....

Lets all hope that he chewed the thing to bits and did not swallow it whole, and hope that while I am giggling about what I am going to say here "It will be an interesting walk in the morning.. I'll have to look through his poop."  That the giggle does not turn around and bite me in the bum... I really hope with all my heart he took the time to chew it bit by bit...

His two weeks at the kennel so far have proved that he pee's outside.. But tomorrow is another story.....  I am know he still cries in his cage, they swore to me he had stopped, but hey there he had lots of company in the room.. Maybe if I play some dog noises for him... AHHHH

Anyway I hope he is going to be ok with the zipper...

Will let you know what I find tomorrow..  Hopefully it won't be a trip to the vet...

Unzip him to remove a zipper!  Does anyone else find that ironic?  Let's hope it passes out the other end without any fuss!  Happy poop inspection! lol.

Re: DOGS BACK...

Instead of a pillow for his kennel.. Why not try a doggie blanket? I have one for Pilsner and he loves it.. He chews on it (nothing harmful about it) and drags it about lol.. But at least he won't be swallowing a zipper.. (how do you get a zipper from a pillow anyhow??)

I'm sure it will just pass.. Hopefully anyways!

Re: DOGS BACK...

Aha... I am guessing dog went to boot camp.  Shame the trainers got him to be obedient and not mummy jess - LOL!  I hope that the zipper manages to pass out the other end without getting caught anywhere in between.  Best wishes to you and dog for your morning jaunt!
