I have looked around.. Maybe not long enough, but I was wondering how do you put your photos up in the blog, and how do you when you want to link someone's blog to yours for example for the tag games.. Any help on that matter would be great thanks...

Ok let me see what else has been going on today... PMS hit me big time today, yes and of course it hit me so what ever happened was a disaster even if it really was not...

First of all, I put $200.00 dollars in my pocket and because it has been a long time since I have actually seen that amount of money in together in a very long time I thought I put it my saftey pocket.. You know the little change pocket you have in your jeans.. Anyway turns out not so safe.. I bent over and my belly must have pushed it out of the pocket. I was horrified.. I was talking to my husband on the phone when I discovered it missing so of course he got upset as he had only just given it to me 20 mintues before... But after I got over the feeling of wanting to be sick because I lost it, I bent over and there it was sitting next to the dog on the balcony, so lucky I found it before the dog did......

Then, I took Francis and Jack (the new puppy) to sister in-law number two, I say two because she lives one street over and the other one lives right next door.. I do have a brother in-law as well but we never hear much from him... Anyway she has a dog too, all was well for a bit until my son fell over, my puppy went to check him out and then my SIL's dog went to check him out and my puppy got all protective of Francis (which is great only after a few days) and then so the dogs had a barking match and scared the heck out of my son who cried for1/2 hour afterwards. It was a big fright. thankfully he has not been scared by the experience and still loves our dog.

Then, Francis did not want to go to sleep so we had issues there, screaming yelling crying and that was just me.. Ok I did not scream, or yell but I wanted too. I HATE PMS.  Eventually he slept...

Then, my computer would not turn on at all, it seemed to go into sleep mode permanetly.... So I got all upset that I had lost all of my sons baby pictures and video's taken on the camera, and to top it all off was angry at myself for not backing them up... then the husband came along and switched the computer off at the back then turned it back on again.. Problem solved.. Well I still have computer issues but first thing tomorrow I am doing a back up of all things that are photo....

All is well now, I am calm... Thankfully though with this new contraception I am on it now only lasts a day and that is the first day of that time of the month.... So by tomorrow morning i will be fine...

Here is another question. Has anyone used the patch evra, for contraception. I really like it except for the unatractive square band aid type patch....

Well here I am back at Minti... Every chance I get I come down here... I am totally addicted... I know this because during the day when I am not here and I am watching Francis play or I think of my step daughter I wonder what kind of advice I could think of that helped me, or if Francis or Camille do something that they should not or well anything I say well I can ask my minti pals.

And of course by the time I get down here and start reading what everyone else has written for the day before I get to writing my advice I realise it is time for bed.... I have never been to bed before midnight (Which is the time I usually like to get to bed so I am somewhat alive when Francis gets up in the morning), with the exception of last night because I was worried about the dog, and upset with the computer...

Still upset with the computer, dog is doing fine... It was so cute today when I went to the vet, I went to the back seat to take Francis and the dog out, and I found them both asleep together in the car seat... It was a kodak moment.. Times like those I wish I carried the camera all the time.. Thankfully they fell asleep again and I was able to take a shot....

I will figure out how to get the pictures up in my blog so I can show you all..

I LOVE THIS PLACE, BUT I NEED SLEEP...

Well Francis and the dog are getting along just fine.. But my computer and myself is another story.... I tell you I don't know what happened.. But I was on a web site about jack russells and something started to download...... Stoped it shut off computer but I think it was to late.. Now my computer is well nicely put not working.. But I really want to use other words...

And to top it all off the dog won't eat but is hungry, and at the same time throwing up... Ahhhhhhh busy busy........ He has calmed down a bit... I will take him to the vet in the morning if he has not righted himself.... Hopefully it is nothing the kids will get....

Jack the new dog is now my husbands dog.. I decided yesterday... :)

During the day, he chases Francis around and visa versa, it is great, putting Francis to sleep has never been easier.... But the night we brought the dog the hubby and I layed down some rules.... No SOFA, No Bed.... SO what happens..... I can't find the dog, hubby and daughter are up stairs, I ask where is the dog.......... Um Camille has him in her lap..... I said ok is Camille sitting on the floor.... NO.... I said ok then just remember it was you who let the dog up on the sofa.... Then last night trying to get the dog caged trained, we decided that at 2am in the morning we had enough of his yelpping, could not believe how long he went on for and that he did not wake Camille. So I said ok make a spot beside the bed, and he can sleep there...  All was well.. then I feel a nose in my ear, and no it was not the husbands...... Pat did you put the dog up on the bed..... NOOOOOO I would not do that, you said no dogs on the bed.. He must have jumped up all by himself........

Not possible, dogs legs to short... So I said, he is now yours..... But we all know who will have to continue to feed and pick up the dog poop...  But the dog is still really cute.. And I just love seeing Francis and Jack playing together...

Wow I never knew that one could learn to walk in just under two weeks.. But I did it.. Yeah.. LOL

Ok time for bed.. My fingers are tired from all the walking...

Today we went to buy some new shoes for my step daughter and came home with a dog that we were suposed to buy after Christmas... It is a very cute little thing, some may even call it a kick dog (because of it's size, I would never actually kick it.) It is a Jack Russel and we have been looking around for ages trying to find one..  Dog found, now we just hope that we can find a friend kind enough to look after him while we go to Australia if not he will have to spend three weeks in a kennel, poor thing but I do know a good one so it should not be to bad.

He is two months old and with my son Francis today trying to calm them both down was a job for sure..... I have never ever seen a dog so tired that it would actually fall asleep in ones arms. He just crawled up on my legs (I was sitting on the floor) I picked him up and rolled him over to rub his belly and he was asleep before I could say good dog.  Of course now he is in his cage (although I hate to have him in a cage, we worked out that we should have done that for our last dog( cage train him that is) He is now up there barking away and I am crossing my fingers that Francis does not wake up because of him.. We chose an original name that I am sure no one has ever thought of.... His name is Jack....

Francis kept running in circles and Jack would follow, then it would be the other way around.. Only problem was when the dog would stop Francis would not and run right over the top of him fall and bounce off the walls. But he'd always get back up and run around some more... On the bright side of things Francis wore himself out and fell asleep very fast... :) When I have a photo I will put it up. I have them I just have not put them on the computer...

My kids have gone next door to play. My MIL is next door looking after my nephews and offered to take Francis for a few hours to let me have a break.  Camille arrived early today so she went to play as well.... I pulled out lots of weeds but decided that I had enough. I have a very big yard and all there is are weeds. I am on a mission to get it looking semi decent before the snow fall so it can grow back nicely next year.

Is it wrong for me not to know when to pick up my kids??? The MIL will call me when she has had enough. :)   She has been really good to me though. In the first year Francis was born she would take him once a week from 7am until 9pm at night. It was wonderful I was able to catch up on sleep and get so much done.  She is back at work now so she takes him when ever she has time and feels like doing grandma stuff... She will take him next Friday as well because he starts day care the following week.  She loves the kids and that is great.

Other then that not much is going on around here. Hubby busy working, and I am here in the basement on the computer.

I think I'll go and empty the dishwasher. :)

Not much is going on today, I went out to drop some papers off at Francis's new day care to be. I put him down and he ran off to play with the kids. Which is a very good sign.  He does not get to be around kids his age most of the time so it was nice to see him do that.   Of course getting him to come home with me was interesting he did not really want to go, so I am comfortable that I will be able to leave him there and he will be happy, at least until he realises I am not there with him.

Then when we got home our neighbour from across the road has an 11 month old boy. And I looked out my window (I don't spy I just happened to be looking at the time) and the father was outside with his son and he was pushing a walker around. So I went out to congratulate them on his starting to walk. Francis wanted to play with him so even though Francis can walk I pulled out his old walker too and we all went for a small walk or should I say the kids took us for a run. 

Now Francis is down to sleep and I have gotten him closer to the sleep time at the day care.  I have two weeks to start getting him to sleep at 1pm, I think I can I think I can.....

Anyway time to run again.

On Wedensday the 5th of September, we start day care. I will be there for the full first day of my sons day care. Then he will be on his own until the following week. I will be working at his day care for two days a week. Mondays and Wednesday. I really hope I like it if not I will find something else.  And it also depends on if I can find something for the other three days of the week. Keeping my fingers crossed. I am very excited yet very nervous at the same time.

I mean I have days when I am ready to sell my son, (although I never would) how will I be with 10 little tackers running around. Not to mention that my son will have to learn that I am not the only adult there, and I will have to learn that my son is not the only child there and that he will have to learn that jealousy is not a good thing. There will be a lot of learning going on. I am hoping that it will all work out nicely and that I am going to love it as will Francis.  

I better get back to looking after my nephews who are being looked after by the nintendo at the moment. Francis is sleeping. I can hear my nephews through the monotor which is a good thing. They are actually playing nicely today which is fantastic. They will be here again tomorrow.  Francis just loves playing with them as they love playing with him. My god it is so loud here when the three of them get together. I had no idea my son could scream so loudly.

Anyway better get back to it. Just wanted to pop in and say hi.... :)

I forgot to add, the clean house I had yesterday was distroyed today by my nephews and my son, but they had fun and it kept them happy... SO I was ok with it... And they will be back tomorrow so I won't be cleaning again until after the go home.... IF I CAN BE BOTHERED.... :)

Today was just fantastic...... First of all I asked for my grass to be watered and it poured rain all day.  So I won't have to water now for a week...

But most of all this morning I woke up with Francis at 6.30am gave him breakfast came down to my baby safe basement, put on Ice Age and fell asleep while he watched the DVD and played with his toys until he had enough and decided to use me as a trampoline. Then we went back upstairs, I was still soooooo tired I sat on the sofa while he played with his other toys and danced around to the music on the radio (He loves music and anything with a beat turns him into a little head banger), Pat came down stairs and started playing with him so I actually fell asleep. Then at 11am Patrik pats me on the shoulder and tells me Francis has had his milk and is taking a nap so I should do the same in bed where I would be more comfortable. So I did. And i was woken up at 1pm by the phone and not by a screaming baby who wanted to be taken out of his cot. I was able to wake up and take a coffee, before Francis woke up and wanted to eat lunch and play again. Francis does not normally sleep at that time or for that long but the weather was a bit sad today. I think that is why I was so sleepy as well. I actually feel like I caught up on a weeks worth of sleep. Only problem is now that I am wide awake and am not sure I'll be able to get to sleep at a good hour tonight.

And to top it all off, my Kitchen, lounge, dining area (which is where Francis and I spend most of our days when we are not outside) is spotless..... So I am actually feeling really good today...  But tomorrow is another day and it could all change...  The mess will be back that is for sure. But it will just no doubt be mostly toys which can be picked up and put in Francis's box at the end of the day and boom clean again.... :) Of course give it a week and I'll probably be singing another tune.

Well first i'd like to say thanks to Rachel for setting this up. Great web site. And helpful for people going crazy trying to figure out how to stop their kids from driving them nuts. :) It is nice to be able to have a place where you can get so much advice that if one thing does not work you can try others until you find something that works....

Second I'd like to thank my mate Chelle for putting me onto this. :) Thank you...... Chelle is an old mate from school. Actually I was her sisters mate. And if it was not for Chelle I probably would have trouble locating her sister these days.

Ok so now I start my blog.

I am currently a stay at home mum but that will be changing in September because I have finally found a place in day care for Francis.  I had thought I was going to stay home because I was having trouble finding a place for him, but there is a lady on our street who has a day care and she caught me one day while I was walking past and told me she had a place, it took me a little while to decide if i should go back to work. Anyway she has offered me a chance to work with her there two days a week. And if I like it we can turn it into a gestation so that I can have the qualifications of a day care provider.  I just need now to find something to fill in the rest of the week.

I am tired today though, Francis has spent the day with his grandmother and I was going to do some relaxing, But noooooo. I took that time to finish Sanding the Balcony (which my dad would say is a Blue Job), and then I mopped the floors which is near on impossible when Francis is home (Dad would call that a Pink Job). So now I have a little bit of time to spend before I go pick him up. And i figure why not start this now  so here it is started. Now the trick will be to keep it up.

I have so much that needs to be done around the house and yard that should have been taken care of. A lot of blue jobs as well, but the hubby is so tired after work that I have to do a lot of blue jobs, like mowing the lawn, sanding the balcony (Which I am happy to say i finished today), killing weeds, and more... But more importantly I want to organise my cupboards. They are so full of rubbish that well I am sure there are heaps of things that could be gotten rid of to make space for other and more important rubbish. But once again finding the time to do it. I have the time yes, as I am not working (so to speak) but when Francis goes down for a nap the last thing I want to do is clean or any type of work. I just want to sit and relax. A mothers work is never done. :).
