Hello to all, I know it's been a while so just dropped in to say a BIG HELLO to you all and jot down a very quick update.  

Things have been pretty busy since I last wrote, the eldest is in high school and the middle one is in fulltime school.   The little one will start kindy next year.    

It has been nonstop mummy taxi running everyone here and there and trying to keep everything ship shape at home.  Hubby has been travelling quite a lot for business so sometimes you very much feel like a single mom, so I take my hat off to all those who do that everyday on their own.  

The eldest has been doing volunteer work at an Equestrian Centre every week and is thoroughly loving it, so this makes good punishment leverage when she's being naughty lol!!!!    Middle beastie has started guitar lessons and unfortunately has had to have an operation earlier this year, and is scheduled for another next month .. nothing serious and she will get over it but she is really struggling at school so hopefully this will sort her out this time as obviously didn't work the first time.  As for junior master he is plodding along and enjoying everyday to the fullest I think that when he finally gets to school he will be in his element.

As for me I do what I do best and keep everyone going lol.  I decided to try my hand at Nutrimetics as just needed something to make me feel useful to myself as well as someone other than my family.   I don't do those home spa things yet maybe some day but I do have a website that people can order stuff from and have it delivered to them, I get so excited when my packages arrive at the door ....... HA HA HA now doesn't that sound sad!!?

Anyway my friends this is the long and short of it for my and mine.  I hope that you are all well and that life is treating you as it should with peace, love and happiness.

Oh my, if I thought I was busy before then I was sorely mistaken!!!!!!   I had no idea what busy was until I went back to work fulltime.   Up at 5.30 in the morning and don't get into bed until 12am getting 3 kids ready for the next day ..... I swear those mums that have 4 or more kids and they work I take my hat off to you all ..... true supermums in the extreme!!!  Anyway this is just a little blog I just wanted to touch Minti base and check on my friends and see if everyone was ok. 

Off to work I go again!!!!!!    

 

Some anniversaries suck especially the ones that deal with the death of a loved one.  Five years ago I lost both my wonderful Grandmother and my Father in the same year only 4 months appart and this week was my dads birthday and the anniversary of my grandmothers death.  I hate this week every year as it brings back a flood of memories that make me happy and sad at the same time.   Happy because they are such wonderful memories and sad because they are no longer here to share them with me.  I hate being an emotional wreck because I have no control over my feelings and everyone in my house suffers for it.  

Anyway this is life and we have to push on and try not to take it out on the ones that we love but it's hard when you get depressed about it ..... you get into a funk and just don't seem to be able to get out of it.  I think my hubby understands but my kids don't and it's so not fair on them when mummy gets grumpy and they don't understd what death really is so therefore they don't understand why mummy is so sad.

I had a wonderful day today I caught up with a very special lady who I haven't seen in over a decade.  She was my best friends mum.  My friend passed away when we were just 15 years old after being involved in an accident - car v pedestrian.  It was so very difficult at that time as my girlfriend was her only child.

Today bought back such wonderful memories of my friend and of the wonderful mum that she had.  We have spoken often and I always remember to send her a card for easter and christmas so it was wonderful to have her come over to have a cuppa and for her to see all my children.  I am so lucky that she is still in my life because it keeps me aware of what a wonderful person and friend her daughter had been to me.  I will never forget her.

May she rest in peace in love and light  -  goodbye again my friend I love and miss you.

Well it's been a frustrating few weeks here in our little household.  We have taken away Little Miss 3's dummy which has completely stuffed up her sleep routine to the point that she now no longer wants to go to sleep until her eyes have hit her knees and she is hysterically over tired which is generally around about 10 - 11pm at night and then she is up at 5.30am.

Not to mention the fact that it looks like we may be going to live in China for a year for my husbands work but getting his company to give us the final yes it's happening is like pulling teeth.  It's frustrating because we have so much to organise but can't do it until we have gotten the official ok.

Oh well other people have had worse things to deal with than this I just needed to get that off my chest!!!!

So I hope everyone has been having an absolutely wonderful year so far.

We have the ability to dress ourselves. 11. We can talk to the opposite sex without having to picture them naked 12. If we marry someone 20 years younger,   we are aware that we will look like an idiot.   13. We will never regret piercing our ears   14. There are times when chocolate really can solve all your problems. 15. We can make comments about how silly men are in their presence because they aren't listening anyway. Don't you just hate it when you accidentally delete your digital photos from your camera or phone?  I'm usually really pedantic when it comes to making sure all my photos are stored correctly and can't ever be destoyed or lost but I've managed to do it twice in the last 6 months and I could just kick myself!!!!!!

Oh well I'll just have to get more!!!!!  The sadest thing is that I can remember the ones I have lost and there is no way that I can ever replace them.   Things like little miss 3 enjoying her first Mocca Chino at a Cafe with her Aunty - she was very cute with her little finger held out while she was drinking and with chocolate all over her face!!!!  LOL

Wow it's been such a busy week this week.  Starting with a doggy rescue on Monday morning after dropping my hubby off to work.  I was driving back to pick up the eldest for school when I saw the most gorgeous little dog almost get skittled by a big 4WD.  He was only a pup with absolutely no road sense and no collar on, so I stopped my car and called him over.  He was not afraid at all which made me think that there was someone who was going to be really upset that he was missing.  I knocked on a ladies door to see if she had seen him around, hoping that I might be able to find his owners right there and then, but no.  So I took him home.

I did all the usual things rang the pound left my name and his description, rang the local vets and did the same thing.  Waited a couple of days but no one claimed him.  So I put signs up down the street I found him on hoping that would work.  Next morning I received a phone call from an exstatic young man looking for his little dog.

Happy to say the little dog that my kids named Jack (he was a jack russel) was returned to his rightful owners non the worse for wear since he didn't have to be couped up in a cage at the pound.  With some motherly advice about making sure that their little dog had his collar on next time.   I'm still surprised that the guys didn't ring the pound but I guess when your that young you just don't think about that stuff.

My little ones were very upset that they had lost their little dog even though we had explained that he wasn't ours to keep and that we would have to give him back if the people who owned him came to get him.

But my logical ten year old stated "that since the owners didn't have kids and that they hadn't made sure he didn't run away we should be allowed to keep him"  Mmmmmmm outta the mouth of babes heheheheheheheh.

  Little Jack

This weekend has been the biggest writeoff for quite some time.  I don't know where the time went.  We decided to have our house valued and I have been running around trying to get it sorted out so it looks presentable but it doesn't seem to be coming together AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Then we went to a party last night for a friends 30th (Geez I felt old!!!!) and another friend of ours who is pregnant - only 1 month go was there ....... god help my husband I got so very clucky!!!!!  He really needs to go do that snip snip thing  LOL!!!!!!  Then our friend who's birthday it was tells us all she's pregnant, our sons are only 2 weeks apart in age we were both due one day apart me on the 1st sept and her on the 2nd  2005.  Anyway I kept thinking about my little man and how quick he has grown up and wishing that he was that tiny little dependant thing I had for that short period of time. 

I must be insane to even contemplate the idea of another child at my age but there I was thinking how wonderful it would be to have another little Josh (2 girls and 2 boys would be nice).   Then I got to thinking about how hard it would be to try and carry (with the complication I have) another baby and deal with the two little ones as well and it just isn't viable so guess I'll just have to spend lots of time with our friends.  LOL

Anyway you get that, guess we all feel like this when you know its the last and you just want to hold onto them for as long as you can and keep them little.

Don't have much in the way of exciting things to report.  

Going about my business at home.  Drop off at school, organise house, do the washing feed the littluns, pick up after hurricane 1 and 3,  pick up after school, Nag slo mo 10 to do her chores, swimming lessons with Miss 3 and master 1, run Miss 10 to swimming squad 3 times a week!!!!!!

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!!!!!!!
