I was at the dr today and things are changing for us.  Even with Lupron, Gonal-F and Luveris, I"m not stimulating like I should be for an IVF cycle.  We decided to convert to an IUI.  My E2 is 585 and my P is .37.  I have a 17, 15.5 and 12mm follicle.  The other 6 are too small to mature.  I triggered tonight so they will do the insem Fri morning.  I'm bummed about cancelling the IVF again, but my doc said it wouldn't benefit us to do IVF with the low # of follicles.  He said it may just be a bad cycle and he's hoping the IUI will work with all the drugs I've been injecting.  After the IUI we're going ahead with the injectable progesterone instead of the inserts I've used in the past after IUI. 

Everyone keep your fingers crossed....please!!

My fingers are tightly crossed for you i really hope this works for you i know how hard it can be it took me 2 and a half yrs to fall pregnant with my daughter i luckily fell pregnant 10 days before starting ivf i really hope it works out for you let us know how it goes .

Thanks so much!!  We started progesterone shots last night.  OUCH!!  It feels like I backed into the corner of a table!!  We find out in 10 days.  I'll keep you informed.

they are crossed for you, and all the ladies TTC, i know how hard it is. thought i havent been through ivf yet. they wont help me till i loose a bit of weight. But huge luck to you xxx

Well, fingers crossed for you.  It is disappointing to have to cancel the IVF but at least you can go on to try an IUI.  And hopefully, it will be successful for you.  Thinking of you!

So what is E2 and P?  I am not familiar with those abbreviations...

Good luck to you.  Will you have a blood test done in 2 weeks?  What is the protocol after IUI?

I'm sorry.  E2 is my estrogen level and P is progesterone.  I did the IUI this morning so I"m going to take it easy this weekend just to help things along a bit.  I start my progesterone injections tomorrow night.   I'm not looking forward to a big 2 1/2 inch needle in my butt, but I'll do anything to get pregnant!!  Thanks for thinking of me!!!

Figured that is what they were...just didn't want to assume.

Have a lovely 2 weeks.  Try to relax.  Enjoy the beautiful summer weather. 

Ah yes, those progesterone injections...feels like a blunt needle doesn't it?  Ugh I hated that.

Thanks Angela,

I numb the area with an ice pack before I get the injection.  I don't mind it, it just feels like I have a charlie horse in the butt.  I actually think they are better than the ones I was getting in the legs and belly.  5 more days until we find out!!!
