I have 8 children - 4 of each.  Half of them still live at home with me.  I'm a single Mum, currently in the middle of a divorce.  I think they're all brilliant (of course!) though 2 of them have problems - one with social phobia and the youngest with ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome.

I'm currently retraining as a graphic designer.  I was a librarian before kids, but most library jobs here require you to work shift work which I'm unable to do.  Also with graphic design, I'm able to work from home if and when I land a job/work.  I'm a little concerned about finding work when I've finished my course (the end of the year) but hopeful I'll be good enough.

I also have 8 grandchildren - 7 granddaughters and 1 grandson from the 4 older children (2 each!).  We have some great family get-togethers and fortunately everyone mostly gets on well most of the time.

I've found Minti very helpful with advice both for parents and educators of Asperger's kids and have send in copies of Minti's advice to my son's teachers. So thanks everyone!
