I took my little 3 yo son to his swimming lesson this morning and he decided that just before his lesson he would go in the "big pool". I was only about a metre behind him - fully clothed with sandshoes and socks.  When I realised what he was doing I said "NO" but of course he didn't listen - litle monkey!  He walked down the stairs and into the pool before I could grab him.  So down the stairs I went in all of my clothes and grabbed him.  I actually think that he would have been able to swim back to the stairs but I didn't want to take that chance! 

He also has a habit of not waiting for his teacher and just jumping straight in and she has to grab him.  Hence the reason for swimming lessons I suppose.  Hopefully soon he will be able to swim to the edge himself without assistance and I won't have to worry so much!

1.     I am a Christian and think that God is awesome.  Some people may think that extremely wierd but I'm ok with that!

2.     I do anything to put off work.  My motto of the moment is "Put off today what can quite easily be done tomorrow".  Hence the reason this has taken me so long to do!!

3.    I love karaoke or any type of performance singing!  Some of you might already know that one but I love to get up and sing in front of other people.  I am ok at it too!  Not totally tone deaf or anything!

4.    I know this will sound strange after my last comment but I used to be quite shy.  It has taken me a long time to make myself get over that.  Although I am not totally over it - I still have trouble starting conversations with people.  That's why minti is good cause I don't have the same apprehension about talking via a written forum!  This will also sound silly but I would much prefer to stand up and talk in front of a group of people than talk one on one - weird I know.

5.   I don't really like shopping.  My sister and I went to Bali when I was younger and she wanted to go into every single little stall at the markets but I just was getting annoyed!  I can't understand why anyone would want to do "retail therapy" to make themselves feel better!

6.  I play lots of netball.  Maybe an obsession!  I play 3 games a week plus training and coaching etc etc.  I would probably play more except I think Scott would divorce me!! lol
