After sitting up way to late last night playing on minti, i didn't go to bed till 11:45. I finally fell asleep at about 12:15 then at 12:30 my darling son decided it was a really good idea to wake up screaming. I went in to settle him down and it just didn't work, he would settle for about 5 minutes then scream again. It was a really painful scream so i got him up to check him over, he can't really talk well and does have some trouble telling me what is wrong. So i did the usual checks and found nothing wrong so i asked him if anything hurt and he just kept screaming. I finally settled him with a bottle and thought that was it but he started again about 10 minutes later. So this kept going till about 4am when it finally occured to me that maybe i should try the panadol (not sure why i didn't think of it earlier). So i got up and got the panadol and Josh would not have a bar of it. He just wasn't going to take it. Finally at about 5am he decided to tell me that his ear hurt. So back on with the light and the poor things ear looked like it was on fire......

So first thing this morning i picked up the phone to call the doctors. (i now have it on speed dial) I couldn't get him in till 3:30 this afternoon. Poor Josh now has an ear infection and a throat infection (must have been all the screaming last night). SO he is on antibiotics again.

In the last 2 weeks i have had both the kids at the doctors twice each. I am considering pitching a tent outside the doctors just so i can get in first!! Hopefully this is the last of them getting sick for a while, my kids usually don't get sick that much but when they do, they do it well.

So after only having about 2 hours sleep last night i will be going to bed early tonight because i'm sure by about 1am i will be sharing a single bed with a 16kg  2 year old.

Good night my minti friends, i will check in tomorrow if i'm not sitting in the doctors waiting room. lol
