Hi All,

This month i celebrate being on Minti for a year!!! YAY for me!!!!

I remember reading about Minti in a magazine when i was just about to give birth to Amy. Not having any time on my hands i decided to write down the website and come back to it when i had a moment. 5 months later, Amy was here and i was having a really bad day with the kids. Amy hadn't stopped crying all day and Josh was completely off the wall. I was cleaning out my handbag (because that's what you do when the kids are driving you nuts). I came across the piece of paper that i had written the website down on. So i decided to check it out and haven't left!!!! I have been on other parenting websites before so i wasn't expecting too much but Minti is completely different to any other site i have been on. I can post a question here and have an answer within 5 minutes. I have made many wonderful friends and can't wait to meet a few of them in the next few weeks.

If i am having a bad day i can minti mail a few people and know that i will have someone there to talk me through what i am feeling. I have come to know that everything my kids are doing is normal and someone elses kids have done worse. I love the fact that i get really excited when one of my minti friends falls pregnant or has just had a baby. I get really sad when one of my friends is having a bad day. I wont say Minti is my life but Minti is a big part of my life and i find that when one of my kids reaches a milestone or does something really funny i need to get on minti to tell everyone.

Sure Minti is a lot like life where not everyone gets along but a lot of the time you don't know when there has been a friendship fall out because most people will keep it private but when it does spill out into the public eye it is dealt with pretty quickly. Admin on Minti is fantastic and they do a great job keeping everyone in line.

I introduced Minti to my sisters when i had found my feet but only one (Neets) decided to take me up on the offer and she hasn't left and loves minti as much as i do.

So this is the first year of many and hopefully one day i will be on here announcing that i have grandkids (hopefully not for many years to come)

All i want to say is a HUGE Thank You to all my Minti friends. Thank You to all the support you have given me over the last year, some of you just don't know how much support you have given me. Finally a big Hello to the friends i just don't know yet.
