My Baby is 9 months old today. It has gone so quickly, it feels like yesterday that we were bringing her home from hospital. She was so small when she was born and we stressed for weeks trying to get her to put on weight and now she is this big girls with the biggest cheeks. We get so many comments on the size of her cheeks and everyone feels they need to squeeze them.
It is so different to when Josh was a baby, at 9 months Josh was walking around holding on to things and walking unaided at 10 months and Amy isn't even crawling yet. Josh was still waking up every 2 hours overnight at 9 months and Amy sleeps 12-13 hours. By 9 months Josh had 6 teeth, Amy has none. Josh was never babysat when he was a baby and i had him with me 24 hours a day until he was 2, Amy had her first overnight stay when she was 5 weeks old. So many things we do are different.
Just an update on how the family is,
Amy is still sick, we are heading into the 3rd week of this cold that she has. Her Asthma is playing up again and she is back on the ventolin. She just can't shake this cold, she will be ok for a day then wake up the next morning and be sick again.
Josh has been playing up a bit but we are putting it down to him just trying to test the boundrys. He has started to hit people when he doesn't get his own way and has started throwing his toys when he does get into trouble. So he has been spending a bit of time in his room as we try to work out other ways of getting past this. The toilet training has gone out the window in the last few days as he just doesn't want to sit on the toilet but we are just going to keep at it.
Me, i am just counting down the days till we are on holidays. We go away at the end of August for a whole week, our first family holiday and i can't wait. Since Hubby started his new job we don't see one another half as much as we did. He leaves the house at 7am and doesn't get home till 6 some nights. This has gone from him getting home at 3:30 everyday. He now also works Saturdays so we miss seeing him then as well. So this holiday can't come quick enough.
Anyway must finish here, i don't think Amy is going to sleep today because i can hear her having a party in her cot.
Hope everyone is doing well, Bel i hope you get better soon,
Love Juzzy
