Hi,

I am 39 years old. I have been married to my husband  for more than10 years. We have one daughter, Katie who turned  3 in October.

We have lived in the Northern Territory for 17 years ( my husband longer than this!) mostly in remote areas. Pre mummy-hood I worked as a teacher, school principal and as an advisory teacher, working  in the areas of teaching English as a Second Language and Special Needs.

I now do cleaning and gardening work that is very flexible so it fits in with my hubby's very erratic schedule! I may even do some relief teaching work in the new year.....bit tricky as there is no childcare in town

There are not many services or facilities where we are and going to town entails a 3 hour return trip! As opposed to the 6 hours it took us until we moved earlier this year!) There are very few other children Katie's age so we tend to make our own fun!

We love travelling, having friends around for dinner, going fishing, working on our property in Queensland ( retirement plan A!)  exploring the great outdoors and lots of other stuff!
