Well here goes another GOOD deed to make you smile . . . Hope you ALL like it and it brings a HUGE smile to your face. Thanks to Cazza who emailed this to me and I just knew it had to be shared with ALL Minti females
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We started to "bud" in our blouses at 9 or 10 years old only to find that anything that came in contact with those tender, blooming buds hurt so bad it brought us to tears. So came the ridiculously uncomfortable training bra contraption that the boys in school would snap until we had calluses on our backs.
Next, we get our periods in our early to mid-teens (or sooner). Along with those budding boobs, we bloated, we cramped, we got the hormone crankies, had to wear little mattresses between our legs or insert tubular, packed cotton rods in places we didn't even know we had.
Our next little rite of passage was having sex for the first time which was about as much fun as having a ramrod push your uterus through your nostrils (IF he did it right and didn't end up with his little cart before his horse), leaving us to wonder what all the fuss was about.
Then it was off to Motherhood where we learned to live on dry crackers and water for a few months so we didn't spend the entire day leaning over Brother John. Of course, amazing creatures that we are (and we are), we learned to live with the growing little angels inside us steadily kicking our innards night and day making us wonder if we were preparing to have Rosemary's Baby.
Our once flat bellies looked like we swallowed a whole watermelon and we pee'd our pants every time we sneezed. When the big moment arrived, the dam in our blessed Nether Regions invariably burst right in the middle of the mall and we had to waddle, with our big cartoon feet, moaning in pain all the way to the ER.
Then it was huff and puff and beg to die while the OB says, "Please stop screaming, Mrs. Hearmeroar. Calm down and push. "Just one more good push" (more like 10), warranting a strong, well-deserved impulse to punch the %$#*@*#!* hubby and doctor square in the nose for making us cram a wiggling, mushroom-headed 10 pound bowling ball through a keyhole.
After that, it was time to raise those angels only to find that when all that "cute" wears off, the beautiful little darlings morphed into walking, jabbering, wet, gooey, snot-blowing, life-sucking little poop machines.
Then come their "Teen Years." Need I say more?
When the kids are almost grown, we women hit our voracious sexual prime in our early 40's - while hubby had his somewhere around his 18th birthday.
So we progress into the grand finale: "The Menopause," the Grandmother of all womanhood. It's either take HRT and chance cancer in those now seasoned "buds" or the aforementioned Nether Regions, or, sweat like a hog in July, wash your sheets and pillowcases daily and bite the head off anything that moves.
Now, you ask WHY women seem to be more spiteful than men, when men get off so easy, INCLUDING the icing on life's cake: Being able to pee in the woods without soaking their socks...
So, while I love being a woman, "Womanhood" would make the Great Gandhi a tad crabby. You think women are the "weaker sex?" Yeah right. Bite me. |

Hmmmm . .
WELL the saga over the Rocky Road has ended and I'm pleased to say that it was a quick death for that Rocky Road . .
"RIP Rocky Road" . . . I treasured you, I admired you . .. I ATE you . . . .
Then I had some insulin cause omg you were way to sweet and you made me way to HIGH ! ! ! ! |
| |
|
Okay then . . .
Since Xmas time I've been nice, calm and very very protective . . .
I've let it alone, I've even admired it and still left it alone.
When it's taunted me and teased me I've shown great restraint and left it alone . . .
Well NO MORE . . .
TODAY I casually walked up and opened the door when all of a sudden it damned jumped out at me, all heavy and hard and whacked my big toe for all it was worth - it brought tears to my eyes I can tell you . . . So I bent down picked it up slammed it back where it belonged (temporarily) and said to my hubby "Right that's it, that bloody Rocky Road is DEAD, i am eating it tonight as I've had enough and it jumping out of the fridge onto my toe was it death sentence" . . . .. POOR hubby still has tears in his eyes . . . .
MIDNIGHT tonight will be known as the time of death for that cheeky Rocky Road . . . .. . . |

Hi guys - I really wanted to post this as it is really close to my heart, my family and my firends . . I have family and also some really close friends that are bikers and this really made me hold my breath . .
The Biker.....
I saw you, hug your purse closer to you in the grocery store line.
But, you didn't see me, put an extra $10.00 in the collection plate last Sunday.
I saw you, pull your child closer when we passed each other on the sidewalk.
But, you didn't see me, playing Santa at the local mall.
I saw you, change your mind about going into the restaurant.
But, you didn't see me, attending a meeting to raise more money for the hurricane relief.
I saw you, roll up your window and shake your head when I rode by.
But, you didn't see me, riding behind you when you flicked your cigarette butt out the car window.
I saw you, frown at me when I smiled at your children.
But, you didn't see me, when I took time off from work to run toys to the homeless.
I saw you, stare at my long hair.
But, you didn't see me, and my friends cut ten inches off for Locks of Love.
I saw you, roll your eyes at our leather jackets and gloves.
But, you didn't see me, and my brothers donate our old ones to those that had none.
I saw you, look in fright at my tattoos.
But, you didn't see me cry as my children were born and have their name written over and in my heart.
I saw you, change lanes while rushing off to go somewhere.
But, you didn't see me, going home to be with my family.
I saw you, complain about how loud and noisy our bikes can be.
But, you didn't see me, when you were changing the CD and drifted into my lane.
I saw you, yelling at your kids in the car.
But, you didn't see me, pat my child's hands, knowing he was safe behind me.
I saw you, reading the newspaper or map as you drove down the road.
But, you didn't see me, squeeze my wife's leg when she told me to take the next turn.
I saw you, race down the road in the rain.
But, you didn't see me, get soaked to the skin so my son could have the car to go on his date.
I saw you, run the yellow light just to save a few minutes of time.
But, you didn't see me, trying to turn right.
I saw you, cut me off because you needed to be in the lane I was in.
But, you didn't see me, leave the road.
I saw you, waiting impatiently for my friends to pass.
But, you didn't see me. I wasn't there.
I saw you, go home to your family.
But, you didn't see me. Because, I died that day you cut me off.
I was just a biker. A person with friends and a family.
But, you didn't see me. |

Hi guys,
As promised I am aiming to make at least on person smile each week for the enitre year. Whether I do it online or among persoal friends it doesn't matter, it is just my goal!! . . Nothing brings happiness like a smile on some-ones face!! anyway here is something to make you all smile . . this came to me via an email . .
A 54 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital.
While on the operating table she had a near death experience. Seeing God she asked 'Is my time up?' God said, 'No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live.' Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a
face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair colour and brighten her teeth!
Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it. After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance.
Arriving in front of God, she demanded, 'I thought you said I had another 43 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the
path of the ambulance?'
God replied: 'I didn't bloody recognize you ! '
If you really like to laugh and smile and have a GREAT sense of humor and a braod mind then I have a GROUP for you . .It called "UP UP and AWAY" . . If you'd like to join the GREAT guys already there and enjoy a great laugh then please email me . . I have had to make this group 'private' as some of the jokes etc tend to be a bit rude for public veiwing.

Sometimes...
when you cry....
no one sees your tears.
Sometimes...
when you are in pain...
no one sees your hurt.
Sometimes...
when you are worried..
no one sees your stress.
Sometimes...
when you are happy..
no one sees your smile.
But FART!! just ONE time..
And everybody knows!!
Gotcha!! You thought it was going to be one of those heart-touching stories!

Well the move is nearly complete, all that is left is too wash floors at old house and take down my blinds then it's back to my NEW home to get on with the unpacking . .
Our new home is already feeling so much better for ALL of us. We are already more content and happier. Danesha is already having friends turning up to play and she is rapt!! Remember of course that its been 12months since she has had friends to the house . . .
NOW for the OMG bits!!!
Sat - Danesha fell backwards of her swing set and I had to rush her to the hospital, turns out she had concussion, bruised her poor little brain and vomited profusely . . To top that off she was in so much pain. So I spent most of Saturday going to and from the hospital as well as moving . . .
Sun - My sister is pretty sure that I have a massive hernia . . I told her how much weight I had put on and then showed her my "part trick" with my belly and she went off!! Told me I was an idiot and that my 'party trick' looked like a hernia and that by lifting heavy things and doing what i was could make it burst and I could bleed to death SO needless to say that was the end of my lifting etc and I have a Dr's appointment for the 7th Feb . . only time I could get one . . .
Mon - My sister headed home and I have kept two of her kids with me (10 &12 yrs). I was SO GRATEFUL for ALL her help as without it things wouldn't have gotten done. she is on holidays from work and hasn't had a break from her kids for 12months so I told her to leave em with me . . . she thought I was mad as we are still unpacking etc BUT they are GREAT kids and Sumara loves having them here . . . .
WELL that's it for me . . . I am stuffed as is everyone else. My sister and hubby are covered in bruises, my legs are so sore I can barely move, Danesha is recovering form her fall, Sumara is in HEAVEN with the new house and yard . .
Hope you are ALL good and LOVE TO ALL . . . xoxox |
| |
|
No-one has showed up to help with the lifting - its hot as hell!!!
I am trying to help but hubby is growling at me cause he doesn't want my Lupus to act up or my blood sugar levels to plummet!
Sumara (19months) is frightened by all the furniture being moved about and we are constantly having to stop and pick her up. So hubby has put computer back together and here i sit with Sumara on my knee while hubby and Danesha(8) do what they can!!
As for my 16 yr old, she is a no show and hubby is going to @#%&^** her . . Reakons she is selfish and the next time she asks for something it is going to be a BIG fat NO! ! ! I am so very disappointed in her. We help her out all the time and now she can't return the favour!! |
| |
|
Humph ! ! !
We went to the new house today to do final inspection and measurements for furniture etc! got inside and were totally peeved! Owners HA NOT cleaned carpets or washed walls etc! ! ! House is DIRTY ! ! !
When we looked at the house it had a garage AND a shed out the back. GREAT we thought and sold our shed as we weren't going to need it! THEN today we find out the the owners have locked the shed and we don't have access to the bloody thing!! NOT impressed!!
Then as we were doing the inspection we found one window with what looks like bullet holes in it!! Asked real estate to replace it and were told "Sorry, no can do house comes as is!!" . . .What a load of crap!!! We feel like we've been trapped and extremely misled. . . .
All this and we haven't started to move yet!!!! GOD HELP ME ! ! ! ! |
| |
|
Well I certainly am peeved! ! ! !
It was a bloody HOT day and we drove 2 hours in the heat with poor Sumara very upset about it all. Got to the hospital and smiles broke out thanks to the air conditioning . . (STUPID me forgot my car has Air-con! ! ! !) Walked slowly to DR's office only to get there and be told "We are so sorry but the Dr isn't here. He has gone on holidays and ALL app's have been rescheduled."
GEE sorry but i NEVER got told . . Boy did I give them a serve and a half . . Was NOT impressed one little bit!! Asked them if they had heard of the latest invention, it's called a TELEPHONE ! ! ! ! Morons! ! !!
Anyway new app is scheduled for 7th Feb . . .
Headed up to Cazza's and true to form she had her air-con going and OMG it was heaven. She even had COKE and ice ready for me . . . YIPPEE . . Girls all had a GREAT play and Sumara got into everything . . Poor Cazza thought she had baby proofed her house . .. ROFL, there is no such thing when it comes to Sumara . . . Cazza was a real champ though and took it in her stride!!
Headed home and Cazza reminded me to use the air-con . . he he he he . . Drove home the scenic route as it offers lots of shade and stopped by my favourite bakery and brought a few treats . . . . Blackwidowkate will be down soon and I will share my secret bakery with her . .
Got home and the bloody teens had done NOTHING and had gone out and left the house unlocked . . Rang them, yelled at em then went and had a granny nap!
Tomorrow we start to move and we haven't packed ! ! ! OMG - i can hear you all saying . . We tried but it stressed Sumara out too much so we stopped. Sumara health takes priority . So we are going to be moving room by room. It'll be slower but hopefully Sumara will handle things better . ..
LOVE to ALL . . .. xoxoxo |
| |
|
Well tomorrow is the DAY . . .
Tomorrow I have my appointment to see my surgeon about my operation. . . I know I need this op and I know how much it will improve my life but sheeesh I am nervous as hell and this is only a Dr check, not the op . .. Gee I am a big wimp!
Then after that I have been told by my GP that I have to go and see him . . . I think he's mad at me cause I've been naughty and shrugged off my last two appointments . . . he he he
We wont get home 'til after tea and then it up on Friday to pick up the key to the new house and then we will be moving over the weekend . . Computer is last to go and 1st to unpack. Hubby has warned me that if he sees me doing too much he will growl. sometimes he can very very very scary . . . lol
Anyway . . I hope my nerves settle before my appointment tomorrow . . . . Hope you guys are all okay . .
Cheers Kellz |

Hi guys,
With the recent article and chit chat about abortion this is what I have to say . . . . . .. . . . .
I have had to have a abortion! ! ! ! It was the HARDEST thing I've ever had to do in my entire life and like the writer of this latest article it is something that I will NEVER get over . . . My baby was so sick whilst growing inside me that Dr's told me he would NOT survive outside my womb and if my baby survived being born then all he would feel was severe pain for his expected 1 or 2 hours of life . . . .
Imagine if you can a 20 yr old female with a cute and bubbly little girl in a relationship that was not ideal.
Imagine this 20 yr had been warned NEVER to have any more children as she apparently had a rare and severe medical condition.
Imagine this 20 yr old discovering that she was pregnant again even though ALL precautions had been taken!
Imagine this 20 being put straight into hospital because the Dr's didn't know what to do,
Then imagine this 20 yr old laying on a bed having an ultrasound watching this tiny little baby inside her playing and kicking and moving around as she is being told how baby sick this little baby is!!!!!!
IMAGINE how it felt! ! ! ! The 20yr old was ME ! ! !
I will never EVER in my life be able to completely deal with this and to be honest I never want to! ! ! ! !
I spent another 7 days laying in hospital trying to decide what to do. Wondering if the doctors were right or wrong! wondering if the little baby I had watched playing could really be as sick as they said . . It was torture, it was a nightmare . . MY nightmare and it was real! Eventually I had to face the fact that what these Dr's were telling me was fact and the protective mother instinct inside of me took over and I agreed to terminate my pregnancy. The idea of my child having to suffer when I could prevent it seemed cruel and who was I to force an innocent young baby to suffer so much pain . .
My partner and I had never agreed on what to do . . His instinct was to terminate straight away, whilst mine had been to delay. We argued for the whole 7 days while I thought . . . It was not a good situation for any of us . .
Even though I had agreed to the termination I had several requests . . I wanted to know my babies sex and I wanted to bury my baby. At the time I was told this was okay . . HOWEVER after the termination was completed and I was back up on the ward I was told that I couldn't bury my baby as he never took a breathe and he was under 20 weeks. Apparently it was the law . . BUT they did tell me my baby was a little boy . . . I NEVER told my partner our babies sex as I guess this was my way of punishing him . . .
I named my son Daniel William and I held a private naming ceremony with a grief counsellor a a few nice nurses . . This was all I would ever have of my precious son . . .
It wasn't long before word got out that I had supposedly "killed" my baby . . In a small community in TAS that is unheard of. The looks, stares and comments were beyond belief. Dead animals were left on my door and prank phone calls etc were non stop . . My relationship had had ended badly not long after I left the hospital and I was a young single mum dealing with all this prejudice . . In the end I had no choice but to leave my home behind, the home which I treasured and felt close to my son . .
My life spiralled out of control for many years and I made many bad decisions for which I will always regret . . . Just when I was beginning to live a somewhat normal life the news came that I had been misdiagnosed and DID NOT have this RARE medial condition and should never have been on the medication that I was taking and the had caused the problems with my son . . . This caused me to once again mourn the loss of my beautiful son whom was an innocent.
NOW TODAY - I have 3 adorable girls and a fantastic husband but I still grieve for my son! ! ! 1 This Jan 14th would have been his 16th Birthday! ! !
To all those whom pass judgement on those that have had terminations . . UNLESS you have lived it, KEEP YOUR OPINIONS TO YOURSELF . . . . Thinking it and living with it are TWO different things altogether . . There are many reasons for a termination and each women's reason are her OWN . . . .. Respect that and respect the hell that some women live with over their decision whether or not it was right or wrong . .

Hi guys,
Thought it was time I started to put up some pics every now and then of my girls . . This week it is Sumara . . . This little one wears out 99% of adults in 10mins (yes us included) and keeps everyone entertained. JUST ask CAZZA as she got the shock of her life. ROFL
Some people have commented that she has ADD and I have just laughed. How can you title a 19month old toddler with ADD. To us she is just a active bubble of energy that LOVES to trash our house daily, scream hourly and throw the biggest tantrums we have even seen. BUT with eyes like hers she can get away with just about EVERYTHING . . .
Sumara is addicted to slides . . . .

Sumara loves being outside rain, hail or shine

Sumara LOVES her nose, its an obsession. We say yuk and she shoves her finger up her nose . EWWW

With eyes like this how can you say NO . . .
** Next Week is Danesha . . . .
