Gee it has been way too long since i have put anything up!!!! I think last time i was probably just about to go back to work maybe not quite, well anyway Lennon is now 13 months. He has been walking since he was ten months and chatters all over the place. Chris and I got married back in Feb, it came and went so quickly!!!!! We had a great honeymoon in Hamilton Island, but would not choose it again for a romantic holiday, to commercial! we have moved back to melbourne after living in the country for a few years, it is nice to be back, I am not enjoying my job, but that is ok because i have just been offered a new job as Associate nurse unit manager at a emergency department YAYE for me! so a bit more money and less hours. I am bout to put Lennon into child care, we decided it was time, well i have decided my husband is still detesting it, but he needs the interaction. He is becoming very demanding and pushing the limits especially wiht my in laws and they give in too all. It has all just been go go go round here we have certainyl had our periods of ups and downs, but have a happy healthy 1 year old and can't wait to have another one!!!

can anyone give me some good tips on getting Lennon to take a bottle. He screams everytime we try. I am going back to work soon part time and he has to learn.

So I went to a sleep and settling class yesterday. I came away with what i thought were good ideas, but Lennon does not seem to agree. He is staying awake far too long and taking far to long to settle. Every time I put him in his cot he wakes up. It is really frustrating. When he does sleep it is for short periods and always wants to feed. I have given up trying to work him out. He is just not getting enough sleep.

I feel like I am going mad today. My parents came to visit from melbourne and I almost jumped in the car with them when they went home. Chris has been working and studying allot lately so I haven't had allot of adult interaction. I think my expectations of maternity leave were different to what they really are. I am so used to being busy in a different way. I am finding it hard to amuse myself throughout the days. Lennon did not sleep wonderfully last night. 3 hours after initially waking for a feed he finally resettled. It was the first time Chris was actually tearing his hair out not knowing what else to do. Normally he is the calm one. He sure knows how to confuse us and keep us guessing. Throughout the last 2 days he has been so good settling down for his sleeps but at night time it is a different story. If anyone has some advice on getting them to settle would be good. Well Chris has gone to work again but tonight i have the new harry potter novel so while i have the oppurtunity i might take it and see if i can make a start on it.
