Have your say! As I mentioned before I am a seamstress and all of a sudden everyone in town found out. It's recital time at all of the dance studios and carnival time at the skating club and just to add fuel to the fire someone from the Church walked in with a pair of lined drapes could I shorten them about 6 inches only 3 and a 1/2 panels to each one so I promise I'll be back when I crawl out from under the pile of fabric and detach my sewing machine from my shoulder. Talk to you all soon. Of course it all has to be done yesterday.

Spring you say? It's still -1 here  I can't wait for the warm weather and then you'll all wonder if I left the  country we live on a small farm and there is a load of outdoor work to do.   I did see a pair of robins 3 week ago but that is about is as far a spring is concerned, my bulbs are not even peeking through the ground. But I'm sure mother nature won't let me down she never has before.

Have your say! I am a 68 year old Grandmother who waited until  just a few years ago to really get into my education. I have completed both fashion design and dressmaking certificates from a local College of Applied Arts and Technology and have sewn for many years.  I raised 3 kids, have 5  grandkids and am fairly involved with all of them.
I try to keep abreast of the current world.  I also took in foster kid for a few years, lived on a farm and trained race horses for a number of years. I enjoy reading the Q & A section of  Minti try to answer many of them with things I know about I won't guess when it involves health issues.or anything else for that matter
