The boys are home from their adventure, the girls are both away. How quickly do these school holidays fly!

Hot weather and humidity is slaying me, thewarmer the weather the more infections I seem to develop. Chemotherapies side effects are not for the faint hearted.

School starts in another 3 days, I hope I have all my canteen stuff ordered and organised.

Well at last the silly season is over. This year we have had non-stop visitors it seems. My eldest daughter was home from Uni, my Dad popped in and out a few times, friends from Darwin (the other side of Oz) popped in for a day or two, the two little ones have been socializing with friends who are local, an elderly aunt and her daughter were here for the festivities with my Dad, so many phone calls from distant friends to catch up while we knew we would all be around home. Then add in the Xmas shopping, end of school functions,and a trip to the vet with a broken toe on the little fellows cat and you could say it is the busy season as well as the silly season.

This week will have to be clean up week, washing, vacuuming, tree disposal and put away all that extra bedding that has been getting a work out. Next week Hubby and son are off on an adventure on trains and planes and we girls are thinking we may have a major toss out while they are away. My young fellow just has to keep every box, piece of paper, toilet roll centre, etc for his craft box!
