If it were nice mild spring weather, I probably wouldn't be complaining. But it's that rainy, cranky weather that is making me cranky. The kids have been inside for three days now (other than that boat trip up the reservoir in the rain) and they are starting to get a little feisty. If I have to take them to the mall so they can run around, I think I may go crazy. |

I am so tired this morning and the day hasn't even begun yet. Ethan just crawled into bed with me and I can hear Nate yelling from down the hall. One of these days I think I am going to need to get my sleep. We did have a fabulous weekend. Derek bought a small rowboat and we all went out on the river yesterday. I think it's hilarious that we thought it was a good idea to get into the boat before checking to see if it would float.
In case you are wondering, it floated just fine. |

That are so beautiful in downtown D.C. So beautiful, in fact, that I told my friends that I should take their engagement picture at a park closer to our house that is filled with cherry trees. We got there today and no cherry blossoms. BOOO!!! |

Did you see Jen's post about spreading some Minti Love to folks that are having a very difficult time right now? She's giving away some of her beautiful art to people who spread the love. You should check it out. |

I assigned everyone a number and then I googled random number picker. I put in the total number and it gave me a winner. Then I did it again because I can't stand to have only one winner. It just doesn't seem right. Don't you think? Go on over to Ngairi and Cazza and congratulate them!!
This was so fun that I'm going to have another Minti contest at the end of the month. Maybe a Minti love photo contest? What do you think? |

I'm calling it a contest instead of a competition because we really aren't competing. No one's answer is better than another. They are all so amazing. That's the joy of the RANDOM winner. So we are all winners!!!! |
|
|
OK, I just wanted to say that I wandered around online yesterday just dropping in to tell people about the contest. I didn't get to very many people at all. If you can think of anyone who would like to participate, please let them know. This is so fun and so positive. I'm loving it.
And for clarification purposes, the winner will be picked RANDOMLY. If I ever had to pick the best story, it would kill me. Everyone's is so amazing. So I'm just going to stick every participants name in a hat and pick a winner. I think that date will be February 4th. So get out there and tell everyone you know. RIGHT NOW. LOL. |

OOPSS!!! I forgot my own MintiLove entry. I just wanted to share that my most favorite thing about Minti is the friendships I have made and the advice I have received from my online family at Minti. It all started with the Queen of Minti, Rachel, and now I have so many online friends that I never would have met without Minti. That and I really like that I have an online community that reminds me I'm not the only person chasing after a crazy toddler and now a freshly walking baby. You guys are the BEST!!!! |

So I think that some of you know that I got an opportunity to go out to Hollywood, California, to give out stuff from my store at Baby Brewing. I got to give lots of my shirts to Hollywood stars. It was very exciting. Jen went with me and took some great pictures here. When I came back, I thought it would be a great idea to have a contest. What do you think? Lots of the stars wanted this shirt which is a design of Jen's. So I talked with Matthew and Clay and they said I could have my very own contest. So here it is. It's almost Valentine's Day and I think we should spread the Minti Love. What do you think? This is what you have to do to enter the contest.
- Write a blog post with the title "MintiLove" (all one word) and tell the whole world why you love Minti.
- Be sure to add the "MintiLove" (all one word) tag words on the right of your post.
- Come back here and leave a comment in this blog entry, telling me that you entered.
I'll pick one winner and you can get your very own "Dreamer" onesie or shirt. I have baby sizes, kid's sizes up to American size 6 and then women's sizes. You can get whatever size you want and I will ship anywhere in the world!!! I even made the Dreamer shirt in Red for the stars. If you want one in RED (not available online or anywhere else), just ask.
Sound like fun? Just write your blog post now to be in the running.... |
