It might be time to declare a quarantine

Comment Published at 05:0505:053 comments3 comments74 Visits74 VisitsReport
We went from 2 weeks of people passing around the stomach flu to some form of illness that makes the children sound like they have been smoking 4 packs of cigarettes a day.  Not just 3, but 4.  LOL.  Perhaps my mistake was taking them to the playground at the mall with all the other diseased children?  I guess flu season has officially hit Chateau Cookie.

Re: It might be time to declare a quarantine

Grr.. I hate sick kids at school! I know it's a pain if parents work, but they just make it worse for others. No one's been sick here for a while - fingers crossed it'll stay like that!

Hope things get better at your house soon!

That sounds exactly like my little man. Last week he had a bout of diarrhea and then it went away. Now he has a cough and he sounds like he's been chain smokin' all his life. But unlike you, it's not from the diseased children at the mall. It's from the diseased children at school!!! There's always a kid who has snot hanging from his nose and the kid doesn't mind it at all. YUCK! My son freaks out when he starts to feel something dripping down his nostrils. He comes to me screaming, "My nose spills, my nose spills!".

That's exactly why I wrote this... and this... and Deb wrote this.

It really sux when people can't be considerate enough to keep sick contageous kids away from other kids. Some people don't realise (or care) how dangerous it can be to other people's kids.

Hopefully you'll all recover soon.
