Kace's 1st Birthday

Easter bunny Madeline

We live in northwest Louisiana. I have a daughter named Madeline, who is 6 and son named Kenneth (we call him Kace), who is 3 years old. We are your typically southern family. We say "ya'll" and "fixin to" (Ya'll fixin to go to the store). We make no sense, but we're happy. We have a 12 year old mini schnauzer named Mallory or Malmal, whichever comes out and an extremely fat cat named Pepper that we more often just call "cat" or "rat a tat". -- Don't ask me. I am a high school biology and forensic science teacher at a relatively urban school. If you want to see some of the town I live in: watch the movies "The Guardian" with Kevin Costner or "Premonition" with Sandra Bullock. Both had parts that were filmed in my neighborhood.

Madeline is a 2nd grader this year at a Magnet school and is exceling beyond what I could have imagined.  She loves school, her teacher and her friends. YEA! Kace has started 3K and so far so good!
 

My family loves to watch movies, travel, fine dining and my husband and I are becoming quite the wine conouisseurs (did I even come close to spelling this right?)
