OH, just a quick tip : when my boy grew too tall for his footed pajamas to be pulled up over his bottom, I cut the feet off the pj's right below the elastic so they would not frey. He can still where those pajamas now .... Just add socks to his feet !

Oh, I just want to let you all know how much I appreciate all of the admins' hard work they dedicate to making this a high quality, fun and informative website. I have been "cheating" on Minti recently with some silly chat site about nothing (logged onto it just to see and for no good reason got "addicted" to it)... it has been so unfulfilling and a waste of good time. Although the "conversation" is instant, it is full of silliness and a lot of times people are down right mean and hateful for no reason  ... Minti is so the opposite of all that !  ...

I am again loving the Minti  "activity" page since all the "random photos" are not overwhelming the page ... admins fixed all that after the needed updates !

As a side note, I was all for Minti getting a live chat area before ... but after my recent experience with chat rooms, I am against it. I say this because on Minti, one has to really think about what one says and it is not all blither blather that has no value. Minti is not all blither blather that spews out of mouths on a whim ...

Also, I notice on "chat" rooms, the real subject is ignored and everyone that "chats" has their on agenda's ... completely unrelated to the site ....  (like people coming on to you when you are visiting a prayer chat room, gross! I was needing prayer, not a perve ! haha !) Minti is about parental advice, not chitty chat chat about silliness...

Again, I wish to express my appreciation to Minti and all the hard work of all the admins that dedicate their time to this site !

   I have been cheating on Minti with some silly chat site ... People there are silly and sometimes mean ... and really they are so not "talking" about anything in particular ... but gosh it is addicting ! Just to put your two cents in the "conversations" ... but, it is of no real value ... so, wherein does the addiction lie? I do not know ... but none the less ... Nothing beats the Minti for advice, support and internet interaction ... and you can make real friends here ... Love the Minti ... and I am calling off my affair with that other silly chat site !   

Oh, I have missed Minti a bunch ! I am so glad to be back "home" ... Lots and lots has been going on lately ... but I am working through it and with prayers from everyone ... all will work out just fine ! Keep us and our family in your prayers ! Thanks bunches !

I am searching to get back in school ... I am going to finish getting a degree ! I am so excited ! wish me luck ... I am searching all around for my options ... and am very very nervous .... but I need to do something for myself ... within a certain realm that also includes my boy being cared for ... and I may have found an online college so I can do classes from home at my own time ...  we will see.... I just changed out my keyboard because my other one had been spilled on and a major amount of keys were sticking very badly ... now I am typing with my new keyboard and it is working great ... Finally the holidays are over ! Wow ! Just when I thought is was all done at New Year's, then there were two more functions we needed to attend .... but we got through it and now ... Spring is before us and I am looking very much forward to landscaping the yard of our new house ... Also, hubby could not keep it secret, he ordered a new bedroom set and now I am motivated to paint the master bedroom and need to get that done soon before the new furniture arrives ... Love the spring , even though right now experiencing severe cold weather ... Love and friendship to all at Minti !

Over the holidays, I found my perfect baby sitter ... I was not ready before and was not sure I am ready now to leave my baby boy (15 months) with anyone .... but it came about that we had an event to attend and one of my husband's employees so wanted to tend to our little boy .... and it worked out so great ! Now, I am relieved to know that if ever I need a sitter this person is one I can trust one hundred percent ! She was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, caring, willing .... And to add to all of that, she is majoring in nursing at college ... so has some medical knowledge !  But also, she and my boy really click ! It really happened ! Months ago, I so never thought of anyone I could trust with my boy plus also click with him ... but she does ! And she is so enthusiastic ! It makes me so very excited ! Now maybe "mommy" (me) can get a break now and again and know my boy is perfectly okay !

Oh, just feeling overwhelmed sometimes .... I get so tied up in just plain old house work ........... the dishes, the laundry, the cleaning ... the mundane things ... I do not get to work on projects .... well the new year has begun ... and I am going now to make a list of projects to work on .... I do better when I have a list to check off ... but sometimes, Oh how I wish I had a maid ......... hahaha !
