I just changed out my keyboard because my other one had been spilled on and a major amount of keys were sticking very badly ... now I am typing with my new keyboard and it is working great ... Just me ... just trying to get my puter and things working .... Oooh, I like this new keyboard ! and I love the Minti ! Thanks for your indulgence !

Finally the holidays are over ! Wow ! Just when I thought is was all done at New Year's, then there were two more functions we needed to attend .... but we got through it and now ... Spring is before us and I am looking very much forward to landscaping the yard of our new house ... Also, hubby could not keep it secret, he ordered a new bedroom set and now I am motivated to paint the master bedroom and need to get that done soon before the new furniture arrives ... Love the spring , even though right now experiencing severe cold weather ... Love and friendship to all at Minti !

Over the holidays, I found my perfect baby sitter ... I was not ready before and was not sure I am ready now to leave my baby boy (15 months) with anyone .... but it came about that we had an event to attend and one of my husband's employees so wanted to tend to our little boy .... and it worked out so great ! Now, I am relieved to know that if ever I need a sitter this person is one I can trust one hundred percent ! She was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, caring, willing .... And to add to all of that, she is majoring in nursing at college ... so has some medical knowledge !  But also, she and my boy really click ! It really happened ! Months ago, I so never thought of anyone I could trust with my boy plus also click with him ... but she does ! And she is so enthusiastic ! It makes me so very excited ! Now maybe "mommy" (me) can get a break now and again and know my boy is perfectly okay !

Oh, just feeling overwhelmed sometimes .... I get so tied up in just plain old house work ........... the dishes, the laundry, the cleaning ... the mundane things ... I do not get to work on projects .... well the new year has begun ... and I am going now to make a list of projects to work on .... I do better when I have a list to check off ... but sometimes, Oh how I wish I had a maid ......... hahaha !

Well this year has started off great : Jacob had another milestone today ! He actually ate his food with his fork. Of course I had to spear the food for him, but he put the food that was on the fork in his mouth on his own ! Wow ! I am really excited because he has not had a milestone moment in quite some time. His last was walking and he's been doing that for many months now ....

Remember after taking down your Christmas trees and unplugging them : remember to replace your outlet covers ! I took down my tree a few days ago and realized today that my outlet was not covered ! My boy Jacob would love to stick his fingers and toys into those little outlets ! ,,,, Best of holiday wishes, Lisa
