Hi, My name is Leanne. I live with my husband Terry. We have 1 dog (Teddy Bear - he looks like one, and two cats Damien (yes he was named for his personality), and Shiva (I let my husband name he because I adopted her without asking. )She was such a cute little kitten that I couldn't wait to talk to him for fear she might be gone by the time I made that phone call. She actually won a contest for the cutest pet last year).
We are in the process of adopting. We have asked for a child three and other but that is not cut in stone. If it was two sibblings one would probablly be over 3 years old, and older children are alway hardr to find homes for.
We live in Cambridge, ON, Canada. It was warm here until a couple of weeks ago, but it snowed a couple of days ago (its mid october). It has never done that (as far as I know) before. Two or three halloweens ago I remember all the neighbours outside at one of houses in shorts and t-shirts, giving out candy.
I am currently in University (again), and I mystery shop on the side. I volunteer with big sisters and at a local nursing home.
Everyone on this site appears so nice. I'm sure I will get some great advise once the adoption is complete and we have our son or daughter. Leanne |
