OK well my names leash, I'm 18years old and have a wonderful 15month old daughter and another girl on the way. My fiancee is a great man and loves to spend time with camia and laying in bed talking to me belly. Am now 5 months pregnant. Found out was a she on New Years eve...what a new Years eve gift.
Dad is always right there when ever i need something for camia (15 months old) and is great support for me. Along with my sisters, whom are hoping to be down for the new arrival. My little sister Sam is the best, always excited about all the new news i give her.
We have also got a family of Elmo's living with us, around 10 of them Lil red furry fluff balls! As camia sees one and he has to be adopted into the family. He gives us all a few headaches but we manage to live with him! (and his many clones)
I don't think there's much more to say really. Just that i couldn't ask for a better behaved baby girl and am excited now we have the second on the way! Don't think life life can get much better. |

Ok Finally, Mothers Day turned out to be exciting! Went into labor at 3.30am 11th May. Was due to go into hospital at 4.30pm Mothers Day. So when we got in there at 4.30pm there was still no baby. They told me i wasn't having a baby that night and i was to be induced the following morning. After being told this, I went for a walk. While on my walk contractions got to 2mins apart 1 min long. We went back in and i got my partner to get the midwife. I was then taken to the delivery room and within 3 hours baby Sienna Leigh was here. 10.43pm 53cm long, HC of 38cm and weighing a healthy 9 pound 7 ounces. (big baby!!!)
So For Mother's Day i got some loverly hand pictures from my daughter (of 19months old) And a new baby girl!
I haven't had much time to get on here and write a blog seeing I'm now running after a toddler and a newborn baby (well a month and 3 days old now!)
So there's my update on baby. As for myself. My partner's Mother and Sister think I'm a total B****h Because I lost all my baby weigh within a week. I guess I'm just lucky. It's not like i don't eat. I eat enough to feed a horse! LOL. Anyway enough rabbling better go to bed... |

OK so last night my contractions started at 6pm 15mins apart for 2-3 mins long, then 8pm 8mins apart for 1-1 1/2 mins long and finally 12am 4mins apart and 1min long. So we made our way (30min drive) to the hospital where i SHOULD be having my baby. This was after i went to the toilet for a pee and you know that feeling of relief from unloading that pressure well i had that but then clear fluid was still coming so naturally i thought my waters must have broken. So anyway we made our way to the hospital and everything was fine. Had the heart beat and contraction machine thingy put round my belly. Contractions now being at about 3 mins apart and 1min long and at 3am-3.30am for all this i was feeling pretty good for having no sleep and being in the amount of pain i was in. Then the midwife says you need to walk some just to help bring her head down a bit further and at 6am we will check you over again. So i spent 2 hours pacing the hospital corridors with my sister in law and 10min breaks here and there. 6am arrives and the midwife does a internal and tells me that my cervix is still at the back, I'm not dilated at all and more or less said i was lying about the pain i was having and sent me home. After an hours sleep at home i went down to my attending doctor and talked to her she did another internal to see if what the midwife had said was true turns out my cervix is in place I'm 2cm dilated and every thing's happening just very slowly so she gave me cervix a stretch (which really hurt!!!) and said if baby isn't here by Sunday night their inducing me at 5pm Sunday 11th may. As happy as i am to know I'll have my baby out by Monday at the same time this stuff with the Midwife concerns me. She made me feel like i was a lire and whiles leaving said to me "when you REALLY think you're in labour then you come in". I mean if i didn't think i was in labour i wouldn't have gone in in the first place. And after 12-13hours of contractions you know kinda seems like labour. Then today i found out that this particular midwife has a problem with unmarried women having babies. I have a 19month old daughter to my FIANCE and this baby with him as well, and yet she still discriminates and makes me to feel bad and in the wrong. I still can't believe it. If I'm not being judged because of my age I'm now being discriminated against because I'm not married. |

Well i have like 1 week and 2 days till my due date now. Everyone's telling me they think baby will be here in the next couple of days. I've had sort of a show minus any blood, I can smell amniotic fluid in my urine, and the pains are getting worst. I'm starting to wish this baby out of me (LOL).
My daughter as well i think is sensing a change about to come, she's been very clingy towards me were is before she has always been a daddy's little girl. I'm loving it and everything, but on the other hand I'm feeling so worn out and feel like I'm not pulling my weight with her. In return she's become a horror of a child. She used to sleep all night and now she's waking at midnight wanting in our bed, or even at 4am. She's in a big girls bed now so can walk out anytime she likes, but prefers to stand next to her bed screaming. She's also becoming very stubborn and not doing as she's being asked anymore. I know I know, could just be naughty twos come early. Either way I'll be glade to over come this hurdle with her.

Well with only two weeks till my due date I'm starting to get those nervous jitters again. Babies sitting really low now and doctors think i could go any day, and i still haven't packed my hospital bag. I got babies bag all packed and ready to go just not my own.
At the same time I'm planning a wedding and i have the flu! How much worst can my last two weeks get!!? LOL. And i hate that there's no cough medicine or anything i can take whiles pregnant. My throat is killing me and all i can take is throat lozenges (not that they really work!).
I've been getting really bad tummy cramp as well. Not so much braxton hicks (I know what they feel like) but these are a million times worst. I started to think there may be something wrong but at my last doctors appointment i mentioned it to her and she said it's normal with the second baby to get worst pains and that it could just be my pubic bone and everything moving. I tell you what though, I'm pretty sure my pubic bone moving wouldn't cause the pain i been having. It sends me to the ground sometimes. I feel like walking into the hospital and telling them to induce me and just get baby out now. But i know that wouldn't work, LOL. I've tried sleeping with a pillow in between me legs and stuff but that doesn't seem to help either. Even got told to sleep sitting up and all that cured was my acid reflux. AND ANYONE WHO SAYS WALKING HELPS!!!NOTE THIS: IT MAKES THE PAIN WORST!!!...
Well enough of my rambling on... |
