Hi the last 6 weeks have been exhausting!  Well I prayed for a 'sleeper' but nobody was listening!!!  We took James to a sleep clinic at 3 weeks, thinking 'we'll get this sorted early' but it hasn't worked. 

He doesn't understand feed/play/sleep and is not interested in fitting around the whole sleeping for hours in the day then pop up have a bot-bot and have a play and then immediately go back to sleep when mummy and daddy say so.  Nup.  He likes to shriek and scream, feed erratically, wake up every 40 minutes and make life a bit tedious for everyone!!!

I'm about to pay a sleep specialist $300 to come over and show me what I'm supposed to be doing as the sleep clinics are lovely but 9 times out of 10 baby sleeps at the clinic but not at home.  He was really good the day we took him, but he's getting worse every day.  There is some thought that he might have silent reflux so off to the ped to find out as I would be really sad to make him cry like this while in pain.  Poor little man.

Well James finally arrived!  He was born February 26th at 4.40pm weighing 8 pounds 13 or 4 kilos.  Totally natural birth with a startling 45 minutes from start to finish.  I hardly had time to register it at all!

We are doing well, he is mucking about with sleep a bit already (just like his darling older brother) but its early days!

Hello I am a little less completely furious today.  Took Ben to playgroup which was really good - it is reeeeally hot in Victoria today and will be all weekend I believe.  My backpain isn't so bad so I am not totally p*ssed off about not being induced today.  I am 39 plus 1 so hopefully I will go naturally over the weekend or next week - I just don't want to end up fighting with the hospital about being induced.  I always thought it was 10 days after due date but they are saying 42 weeks.  That is a LONG time!

I haven't got anything else to write about really as I don't do anything but sit on the couch and watch bloody buggery Foxtel!

Everyone please send me good energy so that my waters break and I go into labour today!!!

Hi, this is my first blog on any website ever!  I love Minti, it is a fantastic website and I have really spent alot of time checking it out since I joined just last week.  I am 36 weeks and 4 days and I'm FEELING it.  My back is killing me, I can barely walk which made the Australia Day long weekend really boring!  My poor husband was run ragged doing everything, and I was a moody cow and kept snapping at him the whole time.  Ben is a bit bored with me too - it's going to be a long week. 

He is currently trying to bash the keyboard to get his 2 cents worth in - I better go do something with him before someone calls child services and reports me for being on the internet too much! 

I'm feeling really isolated!  I can't get out and do stuff like normal and there's been a bit of a sharp drop of 'friends' calling me.  It is a shame when you realise that some friends aren't there when you need them most!  I am really bored and stuck in the house - so I'll probably be posting and blogging like crazy over this week!!!
