Hi and sorry i haven't been on here for a long time now.  This photo is of a teddy bear i won when i was in my late 30's.  Its the first teddy bear that i have ever had.  I know this sounds odd, but its so true.  He's so soft.

I have just used this bear photo (in its origanal size) and edited with words in my site where i am trying to now sell my photo.  Well you never know i may get lucky.

On friday I was looking around my garden.  Most of the flowers now have died off. 

Is it funny that all though we hate weeds in the garden and we all want to get ride of them, each in there own way have a inner beauty.

Well we are defenitly still in magpie swooping time. 

As l was walking home from the shops, (i have to walk up hill all the way and it can be a very hot and tiring walk in summer because there is no shade) a magpie flew out directly in frount of me, i was walking up on the right side foot path.

On the other side of the road was a man and his son on a double push bike riding up our steep hill (i dont know how he was doing it), when the magpie that flew in frount of me flew across the road and pecked the man in the head.

Lucky for him he had a bike helmet on and so did his young son.  I dont know if the colour of the helmet made the magpie swoop as it was white, or the bird flet his young was in danger.

Magpie swooping starts here in late September and runs until the first week or so of November.

So, never stare at a magpie.

Well Day Light Savings started over night here, giving us an hour less sleep. It goes until the 5th of April, which means it runs for 6 months. I love it, as you get an hour extra light at night, so you can do more outside and use less electricity inside to run lights. You get the feeling the day lasts longer.

It also gives you the feeling that summer is on the way, which i don't know if i'm ready for as i don't like the days around 40oC and above. I like the days around 22-24oC as you can do tasks outside with out being too hot.
