I'm a single mum with 2 kids.  My eldest daughter was born in 2002 and my second daughter was born on New Year's Day in 2004.  I separated from my ex-husband (the girls' father) in March 2005 and now we share custody of them week and week about. 

I also live with my boyfriend (BF) who is now my fiance!  Yay!  He's a great support to me and he's learning a lot about kids, especially given that he'd had very little contact with young kids till he met me.

I work full-time in the public service, and I also am doing a Bachelor of Architecture part-time at university.  I don't yet know if I'll ever finish my degree, but I figure if you don't give it a go, you'll never get anywhere.  If nothing else, every unit broaden's my horizons a little bit more and makes life that little bit richer.

I've also just started singing lessons this year.  And somewhere amongst all of that I try to find time to catch up with friends...  I have made some incredible friends on Minti and I also have some amazing loving and loyal friends in the outside world, so I consider myself very lucky these days.
