Well the trip to my moms was great! I loved visiting her and my sis's. Kathy meet her cousins for the second time and she loved them. She is now asking me if we can go to their house. Sadly I have to tell her that it's a long plane trip to them. She gets sad, but I'm going to have her call them sometime this week or weekend. Any who, the day we flew back was awful!
First we were delayed by 4 hours, which would not be bad, however, we did not check the flight to see if any issues arised *never do). So I'm at the airport with my mom and we check the bags, and I ask if there is a possibility of the flight time changing. The lady at the counter tells me no go ahead and leave. Well we do. And then about 2 hours before it's supposed to leave we check the flight, and they MOVED IT UP AN HOUR!!!! I now have 30mins to get to the airport, get thru security and down to the gate! ARGH!!!!!! Luckily though they had not started bording unitl about 10min later. What a nightmare, then when I get home, hubby tells me the house is dirty. The one thing I asked him to do while I was gone was to have it clean when I came home. But nope he could not do it and we got into a huge fight. The emotional one that I am I cried over it cause it made me feel so unapreciated...Well, I called his mom and told her and asked if she could come over. She did and slyly asked him who cleaned the house. He said I did, on the day I come back....She knew what happened and is going to talk to him about the way he treats me. More or less the fact that he picks out the bad stuff, but when I do something nice he does not say anything at all. Typical for a guy (most anyway, dont' get mad at me, lol)
Well now for the good news:
I took Kathy to the Allergist on Monday and we got most of the lab results. For the ones that they tested she is no longer allergic to peanuts and mildly allergic to egg. The doc said that in about 6m they will test the egg again and when it hits 0 then we can let her try to eat eggs. I'm so excited. We have to take her to get poked again for the other tests as the lab messed up and did not do all the tests. Doc said that he is sure it will show the allergies on those tests (he is testing respritory ones like mold and pollen). So I'm so excited that we don't have to worry about the food as much, and hopefully come her birthday she will be able to eat the cake! I"M SO FREAKIN HAPPY!!!!!!
So that's what's up!!! |

Well, we went up to my moms cabin this past weekend and it was great! We left Friday night and got up there around 9. It was only a 2 hour drive and the view was beautiful! It's all woods pretty much all the way up. When we got there my step-dad had a bonfire going for us. We uploaded the car and then sat infront of the fire for a bit. It was late so I put the babies to sleep and that was fun! Kathy is learning to go to bed on her own, so she was very tough, but it was not that bad.
Then on Sat, it was beautiful, so we went down the river kyacking! That was really cool. I've only done it one other time and this was much better. The river was alot higher then before so it was not very rocky. We took my babies as well, my girl with grandma, and Mikey and I with grandpa. We brought his car seat and put it in the front and he slept half the way down. But it was really neat as we got to see lots of turtle, wild turkeys, fish and a few drunk guys. LOL, the water was really cold and these guys were out wading in it going fishing, talk about nuts! Then that night we made another bonfire and made smores. Kathy got to eat one for the first time and she loved it! Then it was off to bed. It began to rain, but it was still really nice sitting outside infront of the fire.

Sun we went into town and ate some Mexican food and did a little grocery shopping as it was my Birthday. I got to pick out the dinner, I wanted Beef Stroganoff for my Birthday and that was just yummy! We got an ice cream cake for us and special sherbert for Kathy. My mom said that my gift from her was an hour and a half massage with her massuse! I get to go tonight (Wed) It rained the whole day and night.
Monday we were getting ready to do, and I could see the river was very high. Well, when we left we saw that the road was really bad. The creeks in the area had run over and were running over the road, one spot it look bad, so we turned around to go back to the cabin. Well about an hour later my stepdad wanted to see what it was like, so we went and we made it down to the bridge at the river and saw that it was just flooded! there is no way we could get out that way at all. There was a back way, so we went looking for it, but no luck. I took some pictures of the bridge and the road. There was one section of the road that started to flood just in the minutes of us reaching the bridge and turning around. Finally my mom and he the way out and we got to go home. That was fun though, and to see the river so high was really amazing.

The road goes straight ahead and off to the left where the white line is, that's the bridge and as you can see it's very flooded (8 ft the river was up to!)
Tues we went to see my sister last night at her school, she is in collage about an hour and half away. We went out to eat and that was really nice to see her. It was nice to see the campus and her room. She has a nice size one, but it's still little. It is a really old school, from the like the 1800 and it's only about 3000 students, which is smaller then her high school. So that was that...Hope you liked the pictures! |

Well we all made is safely to MD! I'm so happy to be here visiting my mom now. We're here for 10 days and I'm so glad. My babies were just angels on the plane. My girl did not fuss once on the plane the whole time. It was about a 4 hours flight and we played, colored and watched some tv. My son slept for about and hour and a half and played alot. It was really nice and the flight attendents were wonderful! I hope the flight back will be just a easy.
We did not do much when we got to my moms, just ate. My girl went upstairs to play and ended up falling alseep on the chair, my poor dear. She was up for about an hour just now and played with grandma for a bit. Tomorrow we are going to the park, and I'm going to make dinner. I hope I can get the meat for it. But all went well and I hope you all have a great rest of the week! |

Well only 5 more days and the babies and I are off to my moms! I'm exctied and nrevous as I will be flying alone with them. Hubby is staying behind, but all the better as he needs to focus on the bakery at the moment.
My SIL and I are doing great! We have been talking and it's been really nice and alot more comfortable then before. My neice and my girl have been playing almost everyday for the past 3 weeks and they are so close now! Hopefully we will be moving to the house soon so they can play whenever they want. I'm getting better at letting my girl do what ever, as I know when I tell her something she will listen. It's just hard punishing her when we are at my MIL's cause I feel like I have to PC at times in how I punish her. She goes in time out, and sometimes she cries and I change my tone. When that happens I feel like they are thinking bad about me and why am I sounding rough with her while she is crying. Or she is talking during time out and I tell the family to let her be cause she is in trouble. I don't know, it sounds silly, but I feel that way. Even though my MIL told me that is what she did with her kids, so I know it's not new to them. I guess cause I'm more blunt with my daughter and she knows when I change my tone and talk that way I'm upset. While no one on their side talk like that, maybe once in a blue moon. They would rather redirect her or try to giver her something to get her to behave or stop crying, and that's not me.
Ok, so enough of that, all better. Bakery is good. We are changing the menu again, going to sandwiches, no more yummy plates. Not many people buy them, they preferr sandwiches, so it works out.
SO best part is we are leaving!!!!! I'm so excited, I'm going to be packing this weekend as I wanna spend time cleaning the house really well and doing the laundry before I leave. We have to be at the airport at 730 am so I won't be able to do anything that day, and Tues I wanna go to bed early to start to adjust to the time difference. Hope the weather holds up!

So let me begin with the lovely and wonderful birth of my nephew. Isaac was born last Tuesday early in the morning. He was 7 1/2 lbs and 20 in (I think). He looked just like is daddy and sister. Poor SIL. She is the one that I did not get along with, but that is nicely changing. I'm so happy as I got to see him when they brought him home, and even got to hold him. I talked with my SIL for a bit and it was really nice. My BIL has been really cool in helping up build the relationship by taking the step to let me be an aunt to their babies. I have been watching my neice alot since she loves my girl. I've been going over to our "New Home" so that they can play and my SIL can have a break.
Well did not do much after that. Kathy came back into our room as my hubby misses her terribly. So I let him do the move, to help him feel better. And when we move in a couple of months she will go into her own room. He has been taking alot of time off, going in late and taking 2 days off to spend time with us. It's been really nice as it's been a long time since we've been able to really spend time with him.
So I was my nephew again the other day and boy has he grown! And now he looks more like his mom, which she does not think so. My SIL and I have a nice talk, and I got to visit her for a while. Little by little, I'm moving slow, to make our relationship better. We talked about the babies and it was really nice. She got to hold my boy too, who she has not seen all the often. And of course, Kathy has been playing with her cousin almost everyday.
Well, Yesterday Kathy went to the Allergist and it was so great. He asked me all these questions and told me alot of things about the allergies and her eczema. He ordered some blood tests and a nose swab. We go back in about 3 weeks, I'll be out of town at my moms. But she was so good at the appt. The nurses and the doctor all said that they have never had a child who was a well behaved as her, nor as polite! WOW! Must mean I'm doing something right, lol. She has gotten alot better with her listening and potty training. I do time out now and it's a great thing! We have maybe one tantrum a week now, where before it was like everyday! I'm so happy for her!
Then today we had an appt for Mikey, his 6m check up, and that was ok. He grew alot and jumped from the 25% to about the 50% for his age. However, his weight is way off the charts, below the 3%. The doc is now concerned and so am I. I have notice that after his last checkup, he ate great for about a month. Then it dwindle and he is eating about 2-3oz every 4 hours or more! But not all the time. And he has been spitting up alot, so we thought (my MIL and I) that he was getting full. NOT! He has refulx, so the doc thinks. My girl had it too up until about 9m. So she said to feed him every 3 hours and try everything. BF, then solids, then formula. I told her that I started to add cereal into the formula the day before and he sucked down 4+oz and then yesterday I added a bit of juice to the BM and he sucked down about 5oz. So it's now a matter of making the formula and BM taste a bit better. She also said she wants to see him in a month to check his weight. He has gain only a pound a month since about 4m. Not good, though he is really healthy, alert, and doing things that are advanced for his age. So I guess he is not a big eater, or the refulx is to much for him to eat alot, and he is putting the energy towards development and growing rather then putting on the weight.
So on another note, I got to see my sis BF. I used to babysit her when she was really little and we are like sisters now. I'm the only one out here for her as her family live near my mom. I got to see her and one of her friends at the bakery and it was really nice. I hope to see her again in May. She is very busy at college at the moment and mid May is when she has her finals. Well, less then 2 weeks I will be on a plane to visit my mom. I'm going with the babies and we will be there for 10 days! I'm so excited since I have not seen her since Oct. I'm going alone this time as hubby has to work at the Bakery. And in July he will be going with me and the babies to Wisconsin to see my Grandma. I can't wait to see my mom though, as I do miss her. She really helps me with teaching my girl how to act and do things. My MIL is great, but she does not do that stuff and I think that she just rather watch her and play with her then try to teach to much how to behave. I like it as it shows that she does respect me and I do ask her what I can do and she helps me and gives me advice. She is not one of those who steps in and takes over, which makes me respect her alot, and seek her advice as well. As with my mom, she is my mom, and I ask her too and I have let her know that I do need help, when she with me, with teaching my girl how to behave and other things. So she knows that I'm the mommy, but because I've asked her to help me with the dicipline she steps in when she sees that I can handle it, or I don't know what to do. And I know I never have to worry about her trying to do to much. I have great respect for my mom and my MIL and I'm so greatful that I have both of them to help me and teach how to raise my babies.
Ok so a house update. My FIL comes home tomorrow and hubby is going to talk to him about the move. My one SIL told me that her dad wants to live back home, while my MIL wants to be here. But my MIL misses my FIL and knows that it's probablly time to go back home to live. They will still be comeing here every 6m so they can keep there residencey. But my hubby wants to talk to his dad about this. If they do go back home, then we might move into the front house. Though I really like the back house, currently my BIL with the new baby. But I don't know if they want to move to the front now or wait until my other SIL gets a house. If my MIL and FIL don't go back home, then we will go into the back house with them, and my SIL will have to find another place to live. I know she is taking her time to find a house, but we also need to save money as our sole income is from the Bakery. Anyway, hubby will have a solid idea what to do this weekend, and when I come back from my moms, I can start to prepare for the move. I'm acting as the motivatin force in this as I'm handling the money for us now and it's scary!! LOL, especially since I have to buy alot of clothes for Mikey.
He is now out of the 6m and silly me decided to wait until now to buy anything. Of course it's still cool, and there are no stores selling winter clothing! I've been able to find 4 tops on clearence and I had to go to 4 different stores to get them. AUGH! I did not do this with my girl, I would but stuff about a month or so in advance, when they still the the prior season for sale and she always had lots of clothing for any type of day. Well, I thought that I would try to save some money and wait with my boy, and now I see it was better the other way. Oh well, I tried. But the nice surprise is that my mom wants to take us shopping when I get out there for the babies. So I have not bought anything really for either baby. So my son litteraly has a about 5 shirts and 3 pants that fit him, lol. So for now I'm keeping him in the 6m clothing and hoping it does not look that tight on him.
Ok, well there is an update on me and my family. Hope all of you are doing well, and I'm hoping that when I'm out at my moms I have more time to pop into all your pages and see how you all are! Lots of love and kisses
