My house sold over the weekend! Yay!

I'm sad too tho, I love my house, we haven't even been in it a year.

But thank god for rising house market costs! Way better than investing!

We're moving Aug 15th. Hopefully Yellowknife has a bit of summer left for us when we get there. I need to get some parkas!

For everyone wondering where the heck that is......

We'll be living in the great white north! with the polar bears and the igloos and the sled dogs!

I was pretty sad to find out that penguins live on the other side of the equator... I thought they just lived in the cold and snow!

I'm soooooo excited!!!! I've always wanted to go dog sledding (I'm a weirdo, I know) and I'll be making tonnes of money. And it's only for 3 years. And they send me to mexico for a week every year! I think it's because it's dark 24 hrs a day for a while, and they are afraid of people going postal from lack of sun, but whatever! free vacation!

God I love my job!

Getting ready to sell my house

We haven't even had it a year!

We're getting sent to Yellowknife in August! OMG it's so incredibly far away! And cold! And really really far away!

But I'm excited! We're gonna go dogsledding and see polarbears and the northern lights!

Anyway, back to painting! it's never ending!!!!!

In continuing with my home renos, i decided to paint the downstairs half bath. Sounds simple, eh? Well then I decided to pull up the baseboards because they'd be easier to paint. Again... really simple!

THERE WAS MOLD!!!! And my subfloor is friggin rotten!!!!

So I bought a pry bar to take the subfloor up so I can replace it... And in a fit of passion I smashed it (only 6 or 7 times!) into the wall. So I guess I'm going to have to get a new bathroom. Hopefully one with a nice big tub :)

Looking into contractors now...

I probably shouldn't have smashed the drywall off... but maybe it'll save me some money in labour costs when they come and make everything pretty!

Well.. I should probably go back to smashing...

Very theraputic... I'd recomend it.
