Lily's first boat ride and fishing trip was today!

We went out to beautiful Powder Point. I'm part of a club that owns a cabin out there, and it was my first trip out. There was a fishing derby for all of the kids.

Beautiful scenery, we saw 2 bald eagles flying around. Lily caught her first fish, a 3lb 10 oz pike. Man, those sure are some UGLY fish!!! One of the boys filleted them up and we had a fish fry.... ugly, but oh so yummy... lol

Lily won a prize for the second biggest fish. Whooo Hooo!!!! She won a fishing rod (a barbie fishing rod, lol).

So now I'm exhausted, and will be taking myself to bed shortly!

Here's me, catching my only fish of the day. This is about 1 minute after the motor died and I was reeling it in to go have a look and see if I could fix it. BTW.... we were out of gas!
