Yay Yay Yay for me!!

By the end of July, Lily and I will be living in a REAL HOUSE!!! No more crappy neighbours fighting thru the wall, no more pot smell coming from the people below, and no more making a thousand trips to the car to get my groceries in!! Lily will have a back yard to play in! (once we get that big, scarey dog next door hidden by a big fence that is)

We're just negotiating a closing date.

I'm super super super excited! And I'm doing a little happy dance *LOL*

I'm foolish, I know.

I got my mortgage approval last week... YAY!!! So, yesterday, while my parents were visiting, we went along with my realtor to look at a couple places. The first one was a state! No small wonder why it's been on the market for over a month. Shouldn't you clean up the ciggy butts on the floor if you are trying to sell? Anyway...
The second one was mediocre. I could live there if i had to, but I wasn't in love....

ON TO THE THIRD HOUSE!!!

What a dream! and for only a couple grand more than the first two. 3 stories... 3 bedrooms and a finished basement. You can even see the ocean from the deck.... absolutely amazing!

And then tragedy struck! As we're out looking at the back yard... a BIG scarey dog lives next door. Big ol' rottweiler who stood up and the fence didn't come even to his chest! I was petrified! So... if I want this house (which I really really do!) I'm going to have to build a very tall fence. I really don't want my baby being ate by a stupid dog.

I'm going to price fences today, and **hopefully** I'll be able to put an offer in by the middle of the week!

OMG I'm going to buy a house!!! All by myself!!!

OMG I've been away from here FOREVER!!! I have so much to catch up on!

I went back to work on the 7th. It was a great half day! At lunch the babysitter called and Lily was throwing up so I had to go get her. She was still sick the next day, so I took the day off and didn't go back in til Wednesday. So I worked Weds and Thurday. Then Thrusday night, Lily decided to projectile vomit all over everything. I didn't know that there was enough puke in a 1 year old to cover an entire 2 bedroom apartment, but aparently there is! So Friday was a bust, and I didn't go to work again, and decided to take yesterday and today off as vacation, just so I wouldn't be calling in sick again. I think the baby is finally better enough to take back to the babysitters, but I guess we'll know tomorrow!

Thursday was also Lily's first birthday....  My little baby is growing up! She's still not walking, which I am 100% ok with. If she's not walking in a couple months, then I'll start to worry about it. I think it's partially because of all of the ear infections that she's had. 3 more to go til they will have put in tubes! So, probably by next Christmas. It's a really scary thing to think about, but I'd rather that then her hearing be damaged, or her balance.

And I'm currently looking at buying a house. It's starting to feel a little cramped in here. 800 sqare feet just isn't enough for a 1 year old, me, 2 cats and a hamster. And paying a mortgage on a 3 bedroom house is way cheaper then rent  on a 3 bedroom apartment!

I would really like to upload some pictures, but everytime I try, me and the uploader get into a fight. Like I have said before, I'll try after the babe goes to bed. I mean after my ONE YEAR OLD little girl goes to bed! Hehehe
