I got home from work and our dog had went #1 & 2 on our carpet...again. My husband keeps saying that he is so tired of her, but she is a really sweet dog when she doesn't ruin our carpet or his yard. I love her and he makes me so upset when he starts talking about getting rid of her. I know he wouldn't do it behind my back...but I get so sad whenever he says stuff like that. Now it's Friday and I would usually be in a good mood, but I got so stressed when he started going on and on about it again!! I just wish I could find a way to keep her from doing this. We have tried EVERYTHING! Crating (she bends the bars or chews through the plastic to get out, Keep Off spray, treats and praise whenever she goes to the bathroom outside, nothing is working). She pees on the floor everyday and will randomly crap on it. If any of you know some secret that we might have missed, I would love your suggestions.
Thanks! |

My son, Josh (19), had initially told me that he did not want me to go to court with him...because I babied him his whole life and that's why he is in this mess (his father's words to him). He received his DUI back on March 28 and had to wait two months for his sentencing. As the court day drew closer, he started to get really nervous (he's never been in trouble before), and he started threatening to just take off to Utah and not show up.
Yesterday, I called him and asked him again if he wanted me to go with him, because I knew he really did...he was just worried what his dad would say. So he finally texted me and said YES. I asked , "What time?" He mumbled and said a few, um, um, I lost my paperwork. Last night at 10:30 I was scrambling around trying to call my friend who is a udge at the court we had to go to, to see what time court started and how I could get his info. She was already asleep, I was online till about 12:00 trying to locate the info....which luckily I found!
We arrived at 8:15 and the judge finally came in at about 9:15, after the sheriff read all of the rules to everyone. So we sat and sat, for about an hour and a half, listening to other people's crimes and punishments. When all of a sudden this kid who was about my son's age stands before the judge and the judge said, "You didn't show up for your community service with Cal Trans?" The kid said, "No, I couldn't make it there." The judge said, "Turn around." The sheriff put handcuffs on him and took him to jail for 30 days. The kid and his girlfriend started crying. I looked at my son and his eyes were really big...I was kind of glad that he witnessed that before his turn, so he would realize that they don't mess around, it's serious.
When they called my son up, he pled guilty and received, 3 year probation, 1 year license suspension, $1,680.00 in fines, a 3 month drug and alcohol program, and a 15 hour Youth Drug and Alcohol Deterrence Program. He was set up with a payment plan of $100.00 a month and will be paying everything back HIMSELF (you might find that surprising since I "baby" him, LOL).
It was a LONG day but my son seems relieved to know that he will not be doing any jail time and hopefully he will learn a lesson, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Last night my husband and I just returned from walking our dog, when he saw a mouse run across our backyard. Our dog Allie immediately ran outside after it. Before I go any further I need to tell you that my husband has turned our tiny yard/patio into a tropical paradise, all this including a small waterfall.
Allie was going CRAZY trying to sniff out the hiding mouse, as I watched from safely behind our sliding door, laughing at the way she, jumped, pounced, and recoiled as the mouse came towards her. My husband, on the other hand was LIVID, shouting, "SHE'S IN MY PLANTS, STOMPING ON THEM AND KILLING THEM! LOOK NOW SHE'S IN THE WATERFALL DIGGING IT UP AND RUINING IT!!" I couldn't stop laughing and said, "Oh relax, it's just plants, she's not going to hurt them...and you can put the stones back around the waterfall," I replied through my laughter. You can imagine how well that went over! I couldn't stop though, I thought it was funny and he was just being ridiculous. My laughter was the start of a fight of course.
I woke up the next morning to see that Allie had creeped outside in the middle of the night to continue her mouse hunt. The liner to the waterfall was completely ripped to shreds, plant leaves were strewn about the patio, rocks were scattered outside the planter, and the wood that surrounded my husbands beautiful creation was smashing the plants that had not been ripped to shreds during her hunting furry.
Horror...regret....and remorse, were my first feelings as I stood there speechless. My words came back to bite me in the butt!! I went out to pick up the broken plants, wanting to hide the evidence from my husband. I'm not very good at saying I'm wrong but she did everything he said she would, while I stood there laughing and telling him to lighten up and not be so crazy about his yard.
This story leads me to the question, do I have a sickness? Not only did I find that incident funny, I also can't stop laughing if someone, falls, trips or get scared (I love scaring people too!). I just keep picturing how they look when they fall, trip or freeze in a ridiculous position. I even laugh when I watch people fly off of inner tubes as they slide down snow capped mountains.
One of my most shameful moments came while waiting for my kids to slide down the mountain. One girl (on an inner tube) hit a ramp and was launched so high into the air, she looked like a rag doll, flopping around. I was laughing so hard...but when she landed she didn't move. They had to air lift her off of the mountain, I felt TERRIBLE! I THINK IT MUST BE A SICKNESS...even after all these years, I can't stop myself from picturing the moment.

Elijah had an awards banquet and made the Honor Roll at school. Then immediately following, he had a school track meet. They faced two other local schools. He knew it was going to be a tough meet so he practiced the night before.
It was the perfect day...he took FIRST place in ALL of his events 100 Meter, 200 Meter and the 4x100 Relay. It's so fun when you have a bunch of good stuff happen all in one day. I guess you can say that I'm a proud mom! He's my baby (13 years old) but he'll always be my baby, and quite the overachiever!!

I just got my new website up for "The Wrinkle Iron" stopwrinkles.nsedreams.com/main/default.aspx. ...once on the site make sure you also click on the first link at the bottom of the page (Before and After Pictures) and see other people's amazing results, (wrinkle's, cellulite, loose skin, stretch marks, all diminished). There is also a video and a link to take a computerized Q & A skin analysis. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my results!! I've used it 4 times now and people have asked me what I've done, it's that noticeable. Nicole Kidman said in an issue of Vogue that she will not attend a red carpet event without first using it. There is a business opportunity also to make money from home (it sells itself), you can't doubt something that provides IMMEDIATE visual results after 1 ten minute treatment.
Check it out and let me know if you have any questions. Didn't believe it myself until I did my own before and after pics. |

I had Mother's day over at my house this time and cooked for my husband's mom and sister's and all of their kids (my mom lives in a different state). We usualIy go to his mom's house cuz I don't like to cook, but I thought it would be nice to give them a break for a change. My oldest son Josh had texted me in the morning and asked if someone could pick him up later (he was at his dad's). You can refer to my earlier blog about my two boys' HUGE confrontation and they still haven't made up. So when my middle son Jullien heard that Josh was coming over, he asked if he could leave because he said, "I HATE that kid and NEVER want to see him again!" I said,"It's Mother's Day and NO you can't leave, it would be the best present for me if you guys could please forgive each other!" He said, "I WILL NEVER FORGIVE HIM!!"
So, my step-daughter went and picked him up for me (remember he got the DUI so they took his license away). We were having a great day, (my food even turned out really good, LOL). Josh got here and I could tell he was drunk, his father had been having a barbeque and just let's him get hammered (he's only 19, legal drinking age here is 21). He immediately went up into my room and got on the computer. Jullien went into my room to get a movie, not knowing that his brother was in there. Josh closed the door behind him and blocked his way so that he couldn't get out. Jullien's girlfriend came running downstairs and said, "You better go upstairs..Josh and Jullien are in the room together." I started to run upstairs but my husband said, "Let me take care of it." Next thing is all I heard was YELLING and a big "thud". I ran upstairs with my two sister-in-laws right behind me. Jullien was screaming, "I don't except your apology because you're drunk!!! Why don't you try doing it when you're sober." As I opened the door Jullien went running right passed me and hit his bedroom door as he headed into his room. Josh was telling my husband, "I was just trying to apologize for what I said because I feel really bad and the only way I can really get out what I want to say is when I'm drinking. My husband said, "Jullien can't stand to see you drunk and he really cares about you that's why it bother's him so much!" Josh said, "Whatever...I'm leaving because I did what I came here to do." He had a big bottle of wine so I took it from him and dumped it down the sink! I started crying and then he left.
So my Mother's Day wasn't that great, but I guess the positive side is that at least Josh tried to apologize...I'm hoping that will be a step towards getting the boys to reconcile. Tonight my husband and Josh will be playing in a mens softball league, (first game). I called to pick up Josh so he can go to the batting cages to practice with my husband, but he said, "I don't want to come over to the house because it's just too stressful." So we are going to leave early for the game so that he doesn't have to see his brother. I just need to keep praying and having faith that it will all work out. |

I have been really trying to take more pictures with my camera and learn from reading the directions (YUCK)! I've been trying to take really close up pictures. I keep doing different settings to experiment but it wasn't until this last weekend that I really had a break through. Our church had an art and music show in our Pastor's back yard, which is like a tropical paradise and I think I found some inspiration in the beauty and actually tried over and over again until I got it right. So...let me know what you think?

I just got back from the Orange County Track championship meet and it was a VERY long day, but worth it! My son placed first in the 400 Meter race, (which was very close between him and one other boy), my son leaned his head across the finish line just before the other kid did. I guess all the practicing he's been doing has paid off. We then had to wait around for about 2 hours for his second event (the waiting is why my husband hates to go...but I always drag him along anyway), which was the 200 Meter race. He was so far ahead of the other boys, they were almost 2 whole seconds behind him!! One of the kids asked him, "Are you sure you were born in 95', you look old enough to drive? LOL!
Now he goes on to the Southern California Championship meet...a lot tougher competition but if he wins he will qualify for the Junior Olympics!!
Just had to brag for a little bit (what can I say...I'm a proud Mom!)

I had heard about this product called "The Wrinkle Iron" that literally irons the wrinkles out of your face in a 10 minute treatment, the official name is The Galvanic Spa. I saw the results of other people on their website and thought I have to try this. On Tuesday, I got my unit in the mail, and being the skeptic, I decided to take a picture of my "problem area" (sounds better than saying my wrinkles), before I used The Wrinkle Iron. I then started my treatment, which to be honest almost felt like it wasn't even on except for a little tingle when I went over my top lip and the 20 second beeping to let me know it was working. I completed my two step process (5 minutes each), very SIMPLE. Then I took out my camera, downloaded my before and after pictures and compared them. OH MY GOSH!! Ten minutes gave me an immediate face lift. I only did half of my face to compare (the company recommends doing this). My son looked at my face and said, "You have to do the other side, you look weird!" The right side of my face (the untreated side, was very droopy, deeper wrinkles around my eyes and mouth and my neck...check out my pics LOOK AT MY NECK TOO!)
This is the most amazing thing I've ever used. I went and showed all my friends and they just kept staring at the picture going, "NO WAY, this happened after 1 ten minute treatment?" Well, now everyone wants to try it, so I will be adding more pictures of the people I use it on. Just think, everyone pays $350.00-$400.00 for a Botox (temporary) fix or a $150.00 single visit to a spa to receive a Galvanic treatment , but I will be able to use my own home Galvanic Unit and make extra money. Check out my website and see the before and after pictures (I like the archived pictures the best) and there is an actual demonstration of how to use it. Let me know what you think? stopwrinkles.nsedreams.com/main/Default.aspx
