Morning Minti Clan,

I'm just wondering how long it will be before I don't feel anxious when little Marcus goes to his dads for the day each Saturday.  This will be the third one since Mark left us when Marcus was 3 months old.  He loves his dad and I want the relationship to develop.  His dad has given up drugs so that he can see Marcus so that is a very good thing but I still watch him like a hawk each time he comes to pick Marcus up.  Marcus is way too precious to allow one slip up ... Anyway the poor little one is still sick and will be seeing his doc in the arvo.  I just hope hes not getting his bronchitis back.  He's not eating and drinking less than he usually does.  Anyway heres hoping the doc can pinpoint whats wrong so that he can get on the mends.  I'm 15 weeks 3 days pregnant today - but whos counting!!!  I love feeling little Dawn moving around inside me.  She flutters around like a little butterfly and can be quite active.  I have just painted a little activity table for Marcus and Dawn for when they get older and all i need to do now is varnish it.  My sisters and I used to use it when we were little so its nice that its still around for our children to use it.  Might chat again later.  Having a bit of a lie down before Marcus' appointment.

It's nice to remember through all of the bad times that the children and their love for us wil always be there.

Hi There!!!

Just wanted to say a thankyou to all the people who have already commented about my photos.  It's true though - our children are the greatest gift we can be given.  I have not done very well in relationships with men in the past.  I wear my heart on my sleeve too much SOOOOO ... all my love and guidance goes to my children.  Must admit having children again now I'm a lot older is a heck of a lot easier than when I started 21 years ago!!!!  I suppose I'm more relaxed and listening to my instincts rather than worried about what others think.  Don't get me wrong I think it's still important to listen to others because there are some great ideas floating around but I still make decisions about my children that I think are the best for them.  At the mo, my poor little Marcus is lying next to me as he is running a bit of a temp.  Think I might be sleeping on the floor of his bedroom again tonight.  He had bronchitis 2 weeks ago so I'm really hoping he isn't getting sick again.  Must admit buying an air vapouriser was a great investment.  It helped to keep his lungs clear in the night and seems a bargain now at only $55 from the chemist.   It's amazing isn't it to watch your children while they sleep - it's like looking at an angel.  They are so pure and see the world with such fresh eyes.  I feel that this is a gift they give to us so that we too can look at the world with "oh wow" eyes.  My little Dawn is so active I have been able to feel her move for a few weeks now - that is the bonus of many pregnancies - I definitely know when my baby is moving a lot earlier.  I don't know it's just like your more in tune with your body and any different sensations inside it!!  Must admit I still can't believe I'm having a little girl - I feel so lucky to have so many beautiful children.

Any way, my little man needs some cuddles right now so I will say goodbye right now and will chat again soon

Well, just thought I'd say hello to all the Minti clan.  Had my ultrasound on Friday and found out I am having a little girl.  I have 3 boys aged 21 years, 17 years and 10 months so now my family is complete with this little one.  I feel like I am so lucky.  All my boys are gorgeous - each in their own unique way and now they will have a little sister to love and look after!!  I am naming her after my mum and my grandma - I believe their strength is flowing through her veins.  well i'll sign off for now. taking Marcus for his first visit to the zoo tomorrow with my bestie Donna and her daughter Molly.  It should be fun.
